Hiya, my name is Em. I am a 23yr old from New Orleans, LA with ancestry from Palermo, Sicily. I am a lover of the outdoors and spend all of my free time in a tree or somewhere quiet. I am a neurodivergent introvert by nature, but find comfort in living in community with others. My free time comprises of attempting to read a book but falling asleep instead, going to local shows, taking long walks lost in thought, and making art that maybe will be kept or forgotten.

I tend to gravitate towards tasks where I can use my hands. I have experience in woodworking, construction, landscaping, art restoration/framing, as well as some gardening, and can learn and help with just about anything with some time and willingness.

Intrigued by the human brain and can spend hours having conversations about the experience of being conscious in a human body. I am also interested in learning and listening about the experiences of people who live amongst their land. Developing habits to create a lifestyle focused less on consumerism and capitalistic values, and more rooted in community care is the objective. Although I am not always the most extroverted person, I can offer a listening ear.
