Hola amigos,
We are Diego and Alisha ( a young couple from Germany) and just finished our 13 Years of school this summer.
With this journey (Sept. ´25 - Feb. ´26) we are hoping to fulfill our dream of getting to know more about the world and making not only memories but also friendships for life.
In German there is a saying: "den Horizont erweitern" - it more less means "getting to know new perspectives" and that is ultimatly our goal for this voyage.
After school we now feel ready to take on new challenges and build a diverse set of skills through our collaboration with hosts and other workawayers: May it be housekeeping, new activities or sports, artistic or artisinal skills or just learning and exchanging experiences - we are here for it all!

Our ideal stay would be at a place were we can get in touch with new people, getting to know each other, learning about there culture and helping with projects like gardening, general housekeeping, cooking and taking care of animals.
Spending time together outdoors, sitting around a bonfire singing, laughing and just having a good time whilst also providing a helping hand to the host.

Que habilidades tienes?

Diego:
Since I just finished school, I don't have "x years of work experience" that I can look back on, however, I did work in a Supermarket for almost 3 Years now which improved my
- communication skills (even if the situation is stressful, I can stay respectful and calm towards e.g. customers).

- the ability to adapt to new challanges and tasks
- language (I speak German fluently, as well as English, with my Spanish it is a longer story but basically it is my mother tongue and I am comfortable in expressing myself in spanish)
- I also love taking care of animals !

Alisha:
I recently finished high school (the german Abitur), so I have a lot of knowledge in health science. I haven't had much professional experience yet, apart from a part-time job in a fashion store. Just like my boyfriend, I learned a lot about communication in my job, but also how to deal with stressful situations.
- I would describe myself as a flexible, ambitious, helpful and empathetic person
- language: I also speak German fluently, as well as English and also an understandable and clear Spanish
-social life: I get along very well with other people from other cultures. Furthermore I love children, because I also have two very young brothers :)

Diegos hobbies:
- riding my motorcycle, playing the guitar, bouldering (rockclimbing but not on rocks ...), parcours and calisthenics
Alishas hobbies:
-drawing,readig (novels), singing, bouldering and of course traveling :)
- I often go riding with my bestfriends horses an we take care of animals on her farm
