Hello everyone,
We are Veronika and David, a married couple from the Czech Republic.

Before I met Veronika, I tried Workaway three times, and it was a great experience. I met amazing people, made good friends, and had a great time. I also learned a lot. Because of these experiences, I feel the need to continue traveling this way. I am so lucky to have met my wife, Veronika, who is such a wonderful person and is traveling with me.

We are nature lovers! We feel happy and at home when spending time in the mountains, forests, rainforests, and by the ocean. We are very active people. Our hobbies include hiking, running, climbing, cross-country skiing, cycling, swimming, working out, and doing yoga. That is why we are looking for places near nature and not crowded cities. Those places are simply not for us.

We quit our jobs and started a new life together, so now we want to seize the opportunity to travel for a while. We think Workaway is one of the best ways to explore and enjoy new places. We look forward to meeting new people, helping them, and hopefully making friends while enjoying beautiful nature.

I believe that we can easily adapt to most tasks.

My name is David, and I work as an electrician and a heat pump and air conditioning mechanic. This means that I'm involved in building projects almost every day.

Veronika is an accountant and a very capable person. She is not afraid of hard work.

Having both grown up in the countryside, we are accustomed to working around the house and in the garden. Veronika's grandfather kept farm animals, so she has experience of caring for them. We are always willing to learn new crafts and try new jobs and skills. If you show us what to do, we will always do our best.

Veronika and I enjoy learning languages. I speak English fluently and am learning Spanish. Veronika is fluent in English and German, and is also learning Spanish.

Marjan and Hans are lovely people. We spent six weeks on their small organic farm. Our stay was unplanned, as we were on another workaway in Italy. We are glad that it happened.

Not even two weeks, but we had a great time. Giuseppe and Cornelia are nice, friendly, kind, generous and interesting people who like workawayers a lot. Working with Giuseppe was a real pleasure. David iss a very good person, comunicate good with the other workawayers and integrated perfectly in the comunity.
His working skills were profesional and he was working concentrate during the whole time. I wish he could have stayed longer and I am happy that he was at the finca for a months.
