Hello,
I’m Fadoua, a friendly and grounded person who values simplicity in life. I find joy in the company of family and friends, great food, good books, relaxing hikes, and traveling. My passion for meeting new people and experiencing diverse cultures drives me to volunteer while exploring new destinations.
With over 20 years of volunteer experience, I engage with local organizations even when I’m at home. Volunteering has significantly shaped who I am today, allowing me to grow through various roles such as project management, teaching, companionship, childcare, and more in different settings like rural inns, eco-farms, and schools. For me, it’s all about the people and the collaboration created by the hosts and workawayers.
Currently, I'm taking a break from my demanding management job to reconnect with myself and nature before starting on my next life chapter. I seek enriching experiences that foster genuine human connection. I'm a qualified Coach with a solid record guiding people through both their professional and personal growth process. In addition, I’ve decades of experience as a trainer in life skills, youth development, women's empowerment, diversity and inclusion, gender issues, climate resilience development… I’m also certified to teach English as a second language (CELTA).
I am hard working, keen to learn and very flexible in terms of getting the job done. I will always try! Therefore, thanks to wonderful hosts, I was able to experience and learn new skills: gardening, animal care (goats, dogs, cats, hens…), home renovation, camp consulting, cooking, …
As a Muslim woman who wears Hijab, I welcome open-minded individuals who appreciate cultural exchange, especially to challenge misconceptions about Islam.
Having lived in various countries and explored multiple continents (Europe, Asia, America), I’m eager to share my enthusiasm and strong work ethic. I thrive in team settings but enjoy working independently> I welcome new challenges, and am passionate about learning new skills
I love to hike; I enjoy exercise, walking, reading, yoga, coloring and writing. I speak French, Arabic, and English fluently, and would love to learn Spanish next.
