Hi everyone! I'm Baptiste and I joined Workaway because I want to travel differently, get off the beaten path, and meet new people. I want to experience everyday life like a local, not just visit the country. I am currently an engineering student, but I decided to take some time off to live this kind of meaningful experience before going back to my studies.

I am an open-minded and naturally curious person. I am always eager to learn new things, understand how other people live, and share great moments. My main goal for this journey is to step out of my comfort zone!

Que habilidades tienes?

I grew up on a farm in France, so I am used to being outdoors and doing manual tasks. I know that working on a property involves repetitive chores and early mornings, and I am totally fine with that. I also do a lot of sports, so I am comfortable with physical work and being active during the day.

As an engineering student, I am also comfortable with practical tasks. I know how to use basic tools, and I can help fix, build, or maintain things if you need me to.

In my free time, I have been involved in charity associations to help people. Thanks to this experience, I am used to working in a team, listening to instructions, and adapting to the needs of others. I just like to make myself useful wherever I can.

I have been playing football since I was 5 years old, so I’m always up for a game! I am also very open and would love to learn new sports during my trip.

Besides sports, I practice music to relax after a day of work. Finally, I enjoy playing card games. I always travel with a deck of cards—it’s a simple and great way to break the ice and share a fun evening with everyone!
