We were traveling around central america for surfing and found this beautiful place here in Nicaragua, El Transito. We decided to fulfill one of our dreams and buy land here to build a surflodge where people can enjoy the beach and town as much as we do. We are a little Surfhouse in front of a perfect wave and want to offer high quality surfing lessons and yoga.

As it is a small fisher town you will get in contact with locals, practice your Spanish with them. Go surfing and enjoy the life in front of the beach.

We are looking for a YOGATEACHER or PHOTOGRAPHER at our Surfhouse, who helps us with the yogaclasses for our clients and little things in the house to make the clients happy. Do the check-in with the guests, go with them to the tide pools, watch the sunset with them from the little Mountain, etc.
We are looking for volunteers who are pro active, reliable and have a hands on mentality.
This is very important to us! There won't be anyone here to constantly check on you. We simply want to offer our guests the best service in a cosy atmosphere :)
It would be great to speak at least a little spanish to commuicate with our lovely staff on site.
We offer you free accommondation in a 4 bed dorm with delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner.

You will stay in our shared 4-bed room (girls or mixed). There is a spacious living room and nice garden with a rancho and hammocks.

El Transito is a really consistant, uncrowded surf beach that consists of 2 beach breaks and a left point break, all right in front of the house or in short walking distance. You can also hike a little mountain or enjoy some of the various tide pools around. Watch the sunset from the hammock, do yoga, go fishing or just chill.
It is a little fishertown with some little shops, bars and restaurants, where you can go out, meet people or buy cheap fish for dinner right from the fisherman.
Just so you know, there is no ATM here.
