My name is Axel, I’m 22 years old and a French student currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Finance at Panthéon-Sorbonne University in Paris (and I promise, I don’t fit the usual finance stereotypes haha). I'm currently taking a gap year to enrich both my professional experience and personal journey.
I come from a big family, where I quickly learned to live surrounded by others, to share, and to connect, often over a good meal or a conversation about nothing important, but always with the desire to live fully and simply.
Curious and open to the world, I’ve had the chance to study in Canada (Université Laval) and in the United States (UC Berkeley), and I also worked in Australia in various sectors, including hospitality and even out in the desert.
I speak French fluently, have a good command of English (though I'm not quite Shakespeare yet!), and have some basic knowledge of Spanish. I’m always eager to keep practicing and improving my language skills.
A sports enthusiast at heart, I played competitive basketball for eight years and I’m currently training for a half marathon. I also love cooking something I inherited from my parents I guess, who are both passionate about French cuisine and I’m always excited to discover new culinary specialties from the regions and countries I visit.

With an international background, I’ve developed strong adaptability, cultural openness, and ease in multicultural environments.

Responsible and caring, I gained experience in childcare by looking after children under the age of 10 while pursuing my studies. This role taught me patience, initiative, and above all, I loved coming up with activities to help them thrive and support their development.

As a passionate athlete, I played competitive basketball and enjoy running. Sports have taught me the value of teamwork and made me realize that the strongest bonds are often formed through defeat, as they help us bounce back stronger.

Curious, sociable, and always excited to explore new ways of life, I’m driven by a desire to learn, share, and build genuine connections with the people I meet.
