Hello lovely people!
*I am currently flexible, ready to travel within days :)

I am a barista, dancer, crafty woman and a former humanitarian professional. My goal is to explore different types of work through which I would be able to support the community around me, ideally when it comes to manual/farm work while surrounded by nature and animals, or supporting people and make their regular day at least a bit nicer. I am especially interested in horsemanship as being around these beautiful animals has been my dream since childhood, and it brings calm to my soul; I see connection, empathy, patience, safety, relationship-based approach as essential in terms of how to approach them. I've been learning how to understand horses' body language and needs, how to ensure they feel safe and calm and are properly taken care of.

I thrive when learning new skills that I absorb like a sponge! I am not overly ambitious, but rather follow my heart and the inner spark that shows me something is in alignment with myself - like when I realized I was deeply unhappy in my international job of several years and decided to take a break, eventually became a barista and learned how to make cute latte art, while getting to know so many amazing coffee shop regulars. Or when I couldn't find a quality reasionably-priced sweater and decided to learn to knit and make it by myself. The same spark ignited the first time the idea of Workaway came to my mind.
I feel happy when creating or repairing something, when being useful, when being surrounded by animals and by kind people who take care of each other. I love the feeling of my body being tired at the end of the day, when there is a visible, tangible result of my work.

Humor, kindness, freedom, nature, building deep connections and exploring life while also growing as a person bring me the greatest joy.

Que habilidades tienes?

I very much enjoy physical work and acquiring manual skills, while also learning about sustainable living, responsible usage of natural resources, and taking care of animals. Though my current manual skills are rather soft (e.g. knitting, sewing, embroidery, macrame, candle making), I love all kinds of work around the house (tending the garden, repairing fences, painting, chopping wood, general maintenance) and I am super eager to learn more from all sorts of stuff (e.g. from herbalism to the carpentry field). I'm always happy to lend a hand where needed.
I also have basic husbandry skills (leading a horse, grooming, hoofs cleaning, feeding, mucking a corral, basic riding etc.) and would love to dive deeper into how to take a proper care of these beautiful animals, and if allowed, how to ride them. I have already worked on small-scale farms where I took care of chickens, ducks and horses. I can cook basic meals (rather something baked in the oven), though I would say I'm much better at assisting :)
I'm used to wake up early, so I have no problem working early hours :)
