We are Lesley and Barry (both around 60). We own a passive solar home on 50 beautiful acres in the Missouri Ozark Hills. Our homestead property consists of woods and pasture with a wet weather creek. We manage our land and our animals as naturally and sustainability as possible. We are very connected with the local food movement and farmers in the area.
We have a small herd of goats, poultry, dogs, cats and a vegetable garden (all for our personal use).
Our children are grown and off living their own lives so it is just the two of us and any volunteers we have on the farm at the time.
Lesley works off the farm in the college of agriculture at a local university. Barry stays home and runs the farm/homestead.
Current personal projects that we need help with are:
1) Cleaning up, planting and helping on our vegetable garden
2) Help with some cooking and cleaning.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

There are many things to see and do in the area. While our farm is somewhat secluded, we are only 20 minutes from a fairly large city with all amenities of a big city. If you enjoy the outdoors, there are many rivers to float and fish, lots of hiking trails and area lakes. We have canoes available

Even though your pet may have perfect manners, we have poultry and goats that free range and livestock guardian dogs who view outside animals as threats to our livestock. Thank you for understanding.*️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️*️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️Un poco más de información
