  Hello!
  
  We are an Australian/American family living in a small forest village in the Czech Republic. My husband and I moved here in 2009 with our two children and since then have had two more children. We are now a family of six 😊.
  
  We have a house and some land in a small village just a ten minute drive from beautiful Český Krumlov. Over the years we have turned our land into a little homestead with ponies, sheep, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats, guinea pigs and one donkey. We also have veggie and fruit gardens where we have been experimenting using permaculture methods.
  
  We have acquired a larger piece of land and old farmhouse that we are in the beginning process of restoring and turning into an apple farm/cidery. We have a dream of creating a beautiful little farm in the special valley we live in.
  
  Our home is very full with lots of kids and animals around but with peaceful surroundings it creates a nice balance for life and time away in nature.
  
  My husband and I like to work hard but are easy going in character and happy to meet new people and always appreciate helpers. There is plenty of time to both work and enjoy the day!
  
  We also live near to Lake Lipno, just a fifteen minute drive where there are water activities in the Summer and Skiing in the Winter.
  
  There are many walking trails around our home and one could easily walk to Krumlov in just a couple of hours.
  
  We are looking forward to meeting new people who are interested in helping us here on our farm!

  With chores taking minimal time, there are many things one could do from our house.
  
  There is sightseeing in Český Krumlov or we are just fifteen minutes from Lake Lipno for a day of swimming in the lake. One could take nature walks around our home, spend time with our animals or in nature.
  
  Our home is in a perfect location to take day trips to local villages or even to just enjoy a day in a Czech forest.

  Ayuda

  We are primarily looking for someone who can spend a few hours a day helping to manage our gardens and lawns. This would include mowing lawns, trimming, and mulching and weeding vegetable and flower gardens. The work needs to be regular but also flexible to accommodate the weather, for example, mowing needs to be done when the weather is dry. This means there is also flexibility in planning your days, work should take no more than three hours a day, five days a week.
  
  There will be opportunities for other types of work as well, working with our animals or fruit trees.

  We have a lovely retro caravan from 1979 with space for two ❤️. It is set quite nicely on our property with access to walks in the forest and a bit of privacy.
