Dear traveller,
Welcome to South Tyrol! You may have never heard of the province where we live, but it's a beautiful spot in the middle of the Alps in northern Italy. We are a German-speaking area that borders Austria and Switzerland. I mention these details first because where we live is one of the major bonus points!
We are a family of four. We have two children (3.5 and 1 year old). I am Canadian but moved to Europe 16 years ago. I have travelled a lot in a previous phase of life so I can relate to those wanting to have a travel experience. The longest trip was when I spent one year travelling around the world by myself. The highlights were South East Asia and India. We are an internationally-minded family, but live quite rurally and in a traditional province. I like the combination actually. I appreciate also thinking locally and trying to help one's own community. But I am grateful that I can think globally and welcome people into my home.
The perks of being here are certainly the landscape and having a flexible opportunity to create the kind of stay you want with us. There are endless outside activities around.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

I am a native English speaker and we speak both English and German at home. We are avid outdoorsy types so you could join in on fishing, hiking, hunting, biking and much more. And being in the middle of Europe there are many opportunities to travel and see other European cities/countries/sites. There are always train connections or major airports within 2-4 hour radius from here.

We are currently working on our biggest project in life so far.... raising children! We don't have a huge network of family around us so we are looking for an auntie/uncle type that could join our family for awhile. We also love our house and garden, but rarely get to those jobs because of the kids. We can make us this joint adventure together with you but some of the possibilities are helping with the kids, cooking and tackling our next garden projects (rock stairs, terrassing the lower garden, building a tree house). We need someone that likes being with children because they are a big part of the day.

We have a single-family home with 3 bedrooms upstairs and a private room with bathroom downstairs. This would be your space. We would share the kitchen and living room, as well as meals. I would certainly appreciate help with cooking.
We have some garden space around the house, modest but lovely. We live in the middle of a small town (3000 inhabitants) with stores and cafes out the back door.Algo más...
You will find yourself in a beautiful landscape so best suited to outdoorsy people. But most certainly someone who likes to be with young children as well.
