Welcome to our Eco-Art Retreat centre, a gorgeous piece of land (4000 m2) on the lush and green Nesodden peninsula in the inner Oslo Fjord. Our sacred land is placed near Bunnefjorden, the body of water connecting the peninsula to the mainland. A steep foot trail leads directly down to the fjord where we have anchored our sailboat.

My name is Stine. I'm a mom for Abbe (7), and Bror (6). I am also an artist, deep ecologist, yoga teacher, and a sociologist. I work as a serial entrepreneur; the founder of the eco - art Retreat centre and the co-founder of one of the leading eco-centric cultural events in Oslo, Motstrøms Deep Ecology Festival.

We are in the very early stages of building a small-scale eco-art community, with opportunities for self-sufficiency in energy, water, and food. The place aims to inspire and promote deep ecological awareness through a living example of art, culture, and sustainable practices.

Ann Elise, Vidar and their little son Forest (5) are living here in their tiny house. Julia is also living here together with us. From September, Charlotte is also joining us. All of us lives to reconnect with the more than human world. This is also the home for two cats and tree chickens, waiting for more chicken and a roaster to join us soon.

At this early hour, we particularly invite one or two persons with carpenter skills, to help with some of the foundational work. Gardening skills are also welcome.

At this earliest stage, we need help with these concrete chores:

    - build a wooden platform. The platform will be a stage for a small amphitheater set right into the hillside.
    - build an outdoor kitchen
    - build an outdoor bathroom
    -build a lounge
-creating a roof for the chicken garden
-Building a greenhouse with recycled windows
-Change the roof and rebuild an old cabin with recycling materials.
    -Build compost toilets
    -Scraping and painting windows
    -Repair the fence
    -Put up a fence
-Chopping and store wood for the winter
    -Building wood shelves
    -Cooking food
    -Gardening work
    -Decorate the area with Land-art
-Decorate an outdoor fireplace with mosaics.

In addition, we have begun looking into how to arrive inside the place's particular vegetation with care and skill, so as to transform what needs to be transformed and leave alone what needs to be left alone. Some patches have stands of mature trees, including oak, ash, pine, and spruce. There are a few fruit trees. There is a lawn. We endeavor the place to grow not only into a family home, but a crossroads for regenerative culture, rewinding and and retreats.

If you are interested in co-creating in this emerging eco-art project, please take contact.

We will be delighted to spend time together and to get to know you.

    Warmly,
On the behalf of the friends here,

    Stine Rosén
