  We are an Indo-German family with three sons (8, 6 years old, and a baby) and live on the beautiful island of Karimunjawa in Indonesia.
  
  I'm Patricia (36), originally from Germany, and my husband Eddy (44) is from Bandung, Indonesia. Our family also includes two dogs and a cat – so there's always something going on! 😊
  
  We chose to live on this island because we want to give our children a peaceful childhood close to nature. Our boys are curious, active, and adventurous. They love spending their time in the water, climbing trees, exploring the island, or playing soccer.
  
  They are very outgoing, friendly, and make friends easily. They speak fluent German, Indonesian, and English. Since they are growing up in a multilingual environment, we are looking for a dedicated German-speaking person to support them in developing their German reading and writing skills.
  
  ... The ideal person has experience with children of kindergarten and primary school age, loves creative and playful learning, and wants to combine education with the unique experience of island life.

  Wir sind eine Indo-deutsche Familie mit drei Söhnen (8, 6 Jahre und ein Baby) und leben auf der wunderschönen Insel Karimunjawa in Indonesien.
  
  Ich bin Patricia (36), komme ursprünglich aus Deutschland, und mein Mann Eddy (44) stammt aus Bandung, Indonesien. Zu unserer Familie gehören außerdem zwei Hunde und eine Katze – bei uns ist also immer etwas los 😊
  
  Wir haben uns entschieden, auf dieser Insel zu leben, weil wir unseren Kindern eine ruhige und naturverbundene Kindheit ermöglichen möchten. Unsere Jungs sind neugierig, aktiv und voller Abenteuerlust. Sie verbringen ihre Zeit am liebsten im Wasser, beim Klettern auf Bäumen, beim Erkunden der Insel oder beim Fußballspielen.
  
  Sie sind sehr offen, freundlich und können leicht Kontakte knüpfen. Sie sprechen fließend Deutsch, Indonesisch und Englisch. Da sie in einer mehrsprachigen Umgebung aufwachsen, suchen wir eine engagierte deutschsprachige Person, die sie dabei unterstützt, ihre deutschen Lese- und Schreibfähigkeiten weiterzuentwickeln.
  
  Die ideale Person hat Erfahrung mit Kindern im Kindergarten- und Grundschulalter, liebt kreatives und spielerisches Lernen und möchte Bildung mit dem besonderen Erlebnis eines Insellebens verbinden.
  
  Hier zu leben bedeutet, Teil einer kleinen Familie zu werden – umgeben von Natur, Stränden und einer einzigartigen indonesischen Inselkultur. 🌊

  As an intercultural and interreligious family, we'd like to share our perspective on the local culture and way of thinking with you and help you better understand the island and its people.
  
  We're also happy to connect you with an NGO that regularly organizes cultural events.

  Ayuda

  We are currently looking for a loving and committed learning companion who will support our sons in further developing their German reading, writing and basic mathematics skills.
  
  It is important to us that you can stay for at least two weeks - ideally even six weeks.
  
  Each child requires a maximum of 1.5 hours of supervision per day. The times would be approximately:
  
  * one session from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m
  * another session from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m
  
  This leaves you with plenty of free time to enjoy quiet mornings, explore the island or spend your afternoons on the beach.

  Wir suchen aktuell eine liebevolle und engagierte Lernbegleitung, die unsere Söhne dabei unterstützt, ihre deutschen Lese-, Schreib- und grundlegenden Mathematikkenntnisse weiterzuentwickeln.
  
  Uns ist wichtig, dass du mindestens zwei Wochen bleiben kannst – idealerweise sogar sechs Wochen.
  
  Jedes Kind benötigt maximal 1,5 Stunden Begleitung pro Tag. Die Zeiten wären ungefähr:
  
  * eine Einheit von 10:30–12:00 Uhr
  * eine weitere Einheit von 13:30–15:00 Uhr
  
  Dadurch bleibt dir viel freie Zeit, um die ruhigen Vormittage zu genießen, die Insel zu erkunden oder deine Nachmittage am Strand zu verbringen.

  **Internet & Strom** Da wir auf einer tropischen Insel leben, kann die Internetverbindung bei starkem Regen oder Stürmen manchmal instabil sein. Gelegentlich kann es auch zu kurzen Stromausfällen kommen. Mit einem guten Mobilfunkanbieter funktioniert mobiles Internet jedoch sehr gut als Backup-Lösung.
