    Hello, amazing workawayers!

We’re thrilled to welcome you to our charming hotel and hostel, nestled right at the edge of the jungle between the vibrant towns of Quepos and Manuel Antonio. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone eager to dive into the diverse wonders of Costa Rica! As a volunteer here, you’re sure to encounter playful monkeys, embark on breathtaking hikes to hidden beaches, and truly soak in the enchanting beauty of this remarkable region.

Our popular hotel and cozy hostel, just a short seven-minute stroll apart, pride themselves on delivering outstanding service to guests from all over the world. During the bustling season, our place often reaches full capacity, so you can expect a dynamic atmosphere filled with plenty to keep you engaged! We genuinely believe in balancing hard work with fun, so we encourage you to share your talents and creative ideas with us—we can’t wait to hear what you have in mind! Your typical volunteer tasks may include housekeeping, reception, laundry, painting, and gardening.

We ask our volunteers to commit to working five days a week, with each shift lasting either five or six hours (including a one-hour break for those working five hours). You'll have two days off each week, and we strive to keep your off days consistent week to week. A minimum commitment of four weeks is required, and we prioritize those who can stay longer, so you can really make the most of your experience here.

As part of our volunteer family, you’ll enjoy some delightful perks! These include hearty vegetarian meals, comfortable dorm-style accommodations (with cozy mattresses and linens) and private rooms available for couples. You'll have 24/7 access to our refreshing pool, on-site laundry facilities, and potential discounts on tours—all set against the stunning backdrop of Costa Rica’s lush jungle! Each day, you’re assured of more than enough food for three satisfying meals, though if you're craving additional items like cheese or meat, those would be your responsibility to purchase.

Please keep in mind that we operate both reception and housekeeping shifts. To thrive in our reception role, a proficient level of English and Spanish is essential, and having additional languages like German or French would be a wonderful bonus! If you’re currently learning English and/or Spanish, don’t hesitate to apply; we may still offer you opportunities in housekeeping or general maintenance.

As a friendly reminder, our property is smoke-free and vape-free, though we do have a designated smoking area in the parking lot.

If you feel that this opportunity resonates with you, we’d love to learn more about you and your skills. We can’t wait to hear from you!

Join us and experience the Pura Vida of the Ticos!

Volunteers share their workplace and the community with local Tico people. We have a team of 5 to 10 local staff, depends on the season, from maintenance, gardening, laundry, housekeepers, cook and waiter, you will have the chance to interact with them, learn Spanish with them and maybe teach them a bit of your own language. You can learn/practice your Spanish and seek to understand more about local ways of living. We hope volunteers can create a warm and welcoming space for all.

    Algo más...

In your free time, there are tons of things to do and see! The bus to Manuel Antonio is only 10 minutes and there you’ll find popular beaches, restaurants, and the famous Manuel Antonio National Park. Right outside our property are networks of hiking trails to Playa Matcha and other destinations. Quepos is also a short bus or walk to get any additional groceries/goodies you may want. The bus costs 385 CRC and takes you there in 5/10 minutes. The nearest beach is around 30 minutes hike from here. If you like to hike we recommend you to explore it!

We expect volunteers to dress appropriately during helping shifts, and to keep the shared kitchen and rooms clean. This is a place where our guests come to relax, unwind and connect with nature, it is not a party venue.
This is a non-smoking place, if you smoke, you need to go outside the premises! Make sure you throw away your cigarettes properly in a trashcan.
