We are a community interested in generating awareness about sustainability and conscious living, in harmony with nature. We are not attached to the grid, deriving all our energy needs from appropriate technologies on campus such as solar power, hydro power and bio gas plants. We have a coffee and fruit tree plantation and small organic vegetable gardens. All our buildings and furniture are made and maintained on campus by our carpentry, engineering and building departments. We have a small residential school, inspired by the teachings of the educational philosopher J. Krishnamurti. The staff and students mostly live on campus, engaging in community life together.
We are interested for volunteers to help us in various departments, farming, carpentry or building as well as helping out in the community kitchen, as per your interest and abilities
The school is located in a valley next to a beautiful untouched reserve forest. There is an abundance of flora and fauna around and even on the campus. In your spare time, you can go for treks, go to yoga classes close by or engage with the communal activities such as playing football with the students.
If you love to spend time in Nature and in community, this is the place for you.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

Intercambio cultural y oportunidades de aprendizaje
There is so much to learn here, from the regenerative model of self-sufficiency, learning how to grow your own food, reflections on community life and alternative education from interactions with students and teachers. We are also in a rural setting and live very close to Nature, so there is a lot you can learn from the space.
Ayuda
We are interested for volunteers to help us in various departments, farming, carpentry or building, as per your interest and abilities. There are various things that can be learned and taught here and any volunteer interested is required to be ready to do different types of work based on the needs of each day, the majority of work although will be farming and helping in the community kitchen. If you have particular talents, do share it with us and we can see if we can work it in to your schedule. As we have a application process for volunteers, it is ideal if you can contact us a few weeks before your intended date of arrival so that we are better prepared to accomodate you.

Rooms in simple cottages will be provided for volunteers on campus. We have solar electricity and bathrooms with running water close by. Hot water is available in some rooms, whilst others are a little walk away. For more adventurous volunteers, we also have a cottage further into the forest, with water supply available in a stream close by.
Algo más...
We only provide vegetarian food. If you are interested to work with us, please be aware that we do not allow smoking, drugs or alcohol on campus. Since we have a limited amount of electricity, it is important that everyone is mindful of how much they use. The same applies to the use of water. No waste leaves our campus, so please bring what is mostly essential and follow our waste segregation systems. It is a beautiful place so please remember if you come here you take nothing but friendships and leave nothing but tracks.
