Hi everyone!!
Are you a patient and sunny person? I need a companion for my 79-year-old mother, who is completely independent but widowed. A sociable, kind person with a touch of melancholy. She was a kindergarten teacher and then for years a writer. Now she has lost her memory a little and needs new stimulation and some company. She lives in a big house facing the sea in the same municipality where my family lives. I am looking for a person from March 2026 in exchange of room and board. I need someone (also 2) to help me to clean, repair, gardening etc. before the tourism season. During tourism season (about 3 months from July) I Need someone to help us with cleaning (we are very fussy about this) or serving dinner (for about 18-20 hours per week) or tò Cook if you know how tò do italian food for maximum 15 people per day.

Who I am and Where you are:
Hi, my name is Paola, I am a farmer and a host in summer in my Agriturismo in Calabria region. This is a very beautiful place in front of the sea where, in autumn and winter, I take care of 2000 olive trees and in summer I host tourits. Me and my sister are involved in it, she prepares breakfast and me the dinner. You will love the calm and the beauty of the place: we have just 6 rooms, no TV, sea view, trees all around for 45 ha.
I need a help during the tourism season, mostly august (20-30 days).
What we do:
We have 6 rooms and most of the guests make long stays (more than 3 days). we don't do daily room cleaning. No restaurant. Only people that stay at the Agriturismo can eat during the dinner. I cook and I need a help to serve dinner and to clean the kitchen for about 4 hours/day. We need flexibility because we are not an hotel and responsability.
What to do in free time:
During the day there a lot of things to do but the most pleasant is going to the sea or read a book in the silence of the countryside. If you are without car you can walk (you will need a cup and good feets! sea is at almost 2 km!) or take our rides because there are always some of us coming and going. The nearest village is 2,5 km away.

The Farm holiday (summer time) is a touristic place for families during the summer, very calm and peaceful. I can share my knowledge about local food, we can go together to buy food and vegetables to the local market and visit local farmer to share their knowledge about wild herbs, honey etc. or visit some beautiful places as the ruins of ancient Magna Graecia, we can swim together in the free time. I speak english, french and portugues (spanish a bit). We are very friendly and respectful people, I think you will enjoy.

From the beginning of September to' the 15th (more or less) I Need help with tourists and I will pay for that. After the last tourist is gone, I Will need some days to close and fix everything for the next season.
It should be also the right time for jams: figs and princkly pears, grapes grow abundantly in our garden!
Autumn-winter season:
When we have a good harvest we need people to help us pick the olives. It is heavy work but full of satisfaction.
We need quiet and responsible persons. Fast and well organized, flexible too.

She help us to iron the huge quantity of tableclothes and towels for the agriturismo ' s guests, She was very fast. She also can speak very well italian (between many other languages) and She was for few days also a good company for my mum and made her laugh a lot.
