Descripción
We are Nikki and Tom, an English couple that along with our two cats live in an old farmhouse about 10km away from the village of Álora. We love living in the countryside, and Tom grows a lot of our vegetables. We enjoy good company, conversations, playing cards and board games. We are looking for a couple, to come and work with us, not for us, for a week or two. Someone who enjoys the peacefulness of the countryside, and perhaps is looking to leave the rat race behind for a while. We have a swimming pool and nearly 20 acres to explore. We are more than happy to do a WhatsApp video call, and can be very flexible with the work hours per day, meaning a long weekend work free is on the cards, ideal for a trip away exploring. Having your own transport would be a real bonus, but not a requirement. Groups would be considered if camping/campervan.

Help needed in clearing a bank of land near a dry riverbed, also general ground clearance. Collecting and chopping firewood.Some painting exterior/interior. Tree lopping, gardening, and general maintenance.

Our home is about 5km from the train station, although only a short distance, it takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to walk, although a couple of times a week we are more than happy to take you to the train station. It is possible to get to get a train to Malaga, and the coast, also the Caminito del Rey at El Chorro. Adjacent to the house, we have numerous rural walks with nature all around. We are non smokers, and would prefer non smokers. We enjoy meeting other people and sharing mealtimes together.

Nikki and Thomas are relaxed , funny and hardworking couple who make you feel comfortable and welcoming.
We were working together mainly painting and setting few things in the house for summer.
The helping hours are fair and we'll organize with tea break ,and stopping normally at midday if it's hot.
