Descripción
Small family homestead located in the neighborhood of Jizera Mountains (Jizerské hory) Protected Landscape Area, near the city of Liberec just one hour from Prague.
We focus on environment friendly farming, sustainable living. We aim for at least partial self-sufficiency. We are interested in traditional craftsmanship, cheese making, permaculture and green building.
We grow vegetables, keep sheep, goats, cow, horse, ducks, rabbits, chickens and bees, and take care of 5ha of land (pastures, orchard, garden, forest).
Helpers could help with building fences, shelters, with animals, garden, field, forest, housekeeping, household, cooking and many other activities ... but we understand this project as well as an opportunity to meet interesting people, have fun and exchange experiences. -
