I spent an awesome week at Gurli's. I felt very well welcomed from the first minute as she had to pick me up very early in the morning the day I've arrived in Bornholm.
Gurli is super kind, interesting, active and strong woman. The house is beautiful and very confortable, I helped her painting one of the rooms in the morning and in the afternoon
… read more was free to go out and explore the island. She took me to different landmarks, I learned a lot about Bornholm and also about danish culture. She is also a great cook, I could try some traditional danish meals, were very tasty :)

We had the best of all hots !! gurli is an incredible person and you can say that he is family to us .. he gave himself to us 100% from the first moment we arrived at his house which made us feel our own for much longer than we thought since we had to spend there the pandemic. the experience was 100% positive. We will be grateful for all that he

Together with a friend, we started our trip through Europe meeting Gurli. It was our first "Workaway" and we will always be grateful to her. She is an amazing woman! We shared a lot of talks and a lot of meals (she is such a good chef!) and she taught us so many things... We started to know Danish culture thanks to Gurli.
