  We are a 59 year old mother and a 26 year old daughter, with many plans in our Finca on the island of Tenerife, which little by little with a lot of love and commitment is growing, but to do so, we also need your help. We would therefore appreciate help in different jobs, in our finca, with wonderful sunsets every evening, overlooking La Gomera (the island facing Tenerife) respecting nature and enjoying the volcanic energy of this island. The help we are looking for is mainly in agriculture and with chickens, we would like to have someone who already knows a minimum of agriculture and permaculture. We prefer mature, autonomous, creative people with experience in this world or at least with a strong passion about it. If you know how to do manual work you are welcome! We could really use some help with strong arms and experience with manual work. For example: Work with wood, animal enclosures, knowing how to use a brush cutter or chainsaw and knowing how to create stone paths and walls. But if this is not the case, you are still welcome to give us a hand in our finca, with everything related to agriculture and the field. We speak Italian (because we are Italian) and we speak Spanish well. We understand English but we don't speak it enough to explain things to you, so if you only speak English it's better that you don't come, I'm very sorry. I specify that we are not a company, we would only like to produce for our personal consumption, creating our own vegetable garden and we would like you to help us make this place as green as possible!
  
  Siamo una mamma di 59 anni e una figlia di 26 anni, con tanti progetti nella nostra Finca nell'isola di Tenerife, che a poco a poco con tanto amore e impegno sta crescendo, ma per farlo, abbiamo bisogno anche del vostro aiuto.
  
  Apprezzeremmo quindi l'aiuto in diversi lavori, nella nostra finca, con tramonti meravigliosi ogni sera, con vista su La Gomera (l'isola che si trova di fronte a Tenerife) rispettando la natura e godendoci l'energia vulcanica di quest'isola.
  
  L'aiuto che cerchiamo è principalmente in agricoltura e con le galline, ci piacerebbe avere qualcuno che conosca già un minimo di agricoltura e permacultura. Preferiamo persone mature, autonome, creative e con esperienza in questo mondo o almeno con una forte passione a riguardo.
  
  Se sai fare lavori manuali sei il benvenuto! Ci farebbe davvero molto comodo un aiuto di braccia forti, e esperienza con i lavori manuali. Per esempio: Lavori con il legno, recinti per animali, saper usare il decespugliatore o la motosega e saper creare cammini e muretti in pietra.
  
  Ma se così non fosse, sei lo stesso il benvenuto per darci una mano nella nostra finca, con tutto ciò che riguarda l'agricoltura e con il campo.
  
  Parliamo italiano (perché siamo italiani) e parliamo bene lo spagnolo. Capiamo l'inglese ma non lo parliamo abbastanza per spiegarti le cose, quindi se parli solo inglese è meglio che tu non venga, mi dispiace molto.
  
  Specifico che non siamo una azienda, vorremmo solamente produrre per il nostro consumo personale, creando il nostro orto e vorremmo che voi ci aiutaste a far si che diventi più verde possibile questo posto!

  You can enjoy a wonderful landscape every day, with breathtaking sunsets.. Stunning climate and trekking, even on Teide, very close! Every now and then we can give you a lift down if we drive down and we can give you all the advice about Tenerife! This is a very quiet place, where you can disconnect and where you can admire the starry sky at night. Enjoy this island full of wonderful landscapes, all different from each other!
  
  Puoi godere di un paesaggio meraviglioso ogni giorno, con tramonti mozzafiato.. Clima stupendo e trekking, anche sul Teide, vicinissimi! Ogni tanto possiamo darvi un passaggio in giù se scendiamo in macchina e possiamo darvi tutti i consigli riguardo a Tenerife! Questo è un posto molto tranquillo, dove poter disconettere e dove poter ammirare il cielo stellato di notte..
  Goditi quest'isola ricca di paesaggi meravigliosi e tutti differenti tra loro!

  Ayuda

  The help we are looking for is mainly in agriculture and everything related to the field. It will be my mother who will explain to you the tasks to be done in the morning, regarding work in the countryside. We expect volunteers to help and participate for approximately half a day, 5 days a week, 5 hours a day, in the daily activities of the finca and help us with the general maintenance of the land, the vegetable garden, in the fields and with our chickens. We need help to water the vineyard in the morning (as we have had water problems recently, which we are trying to resolve, and we hope that this will happen by this summer 2024..) until we have the automatic irrigation system working . Giorgia knows about regenerative agriculture and permaculture and can initially explain the tasks at hand, but the farm, just so you know, is at the beginning of its growth. Therefore, we would like you to be independent, open-minded, creative and experienced in agriculture or permaculture or very passionate about it and participate in helping us make this earth as green as possible! We prefer to accept people over 25 years old. Please note that this is only a rough guide and the itinerary may be subject to change depending on the needs of the estate. However, the main tasks will include: helping in the field planting trees, plants and flowers agriculture general maintenance of the external part of the finca helping with the chickens
  
  L'aiuto che cerchiamo è principalmente in agricoltura e tutto ciò che riguarda il campo.
  Sarà mia mamma che ti spiegherà i compiti da svolgere la mattina, riguardo ai lavori in campagna.
  Ci aspettiamo che i volontari aiutino e partecipino per circa mezza giornata, 5 giorni a settimana, 5 ore al giorno, alle attività quotidiane della finca e ci aiutino nella manutenzione generale della terra, dell'orto, nei campi e con le nostre galline.
  
  Abbiamo bisogno di aiuto per innaffiare la vigna al mattino (poichè abbiamo avuto problemi di acqua in questi ultimi tempi, che stiamo cercando di risolvere, e speriamo che questo succeda entro questa estate 2024..) finchè non avremmo funzionante l'impianto di irrigazione automatico.
  
  Giorgia conosce l'agricoltura rigenerativa e la permacultura e può all'inizio spiegarti i compiti da svolgere, ma la fattoria, solo così tu lo sappia, è all'inizio della sua crescita. Pertanto, vorremmo che tu fossi indipendente, aperto, creativo e con esperienza in agricoltura o permacultura o molto appassionato a riguardo e che partecipassi per aiutarci a rendere questa terra il più verde possibile!
  Preferiamo accettare persone sopra i 25 anni.
  
  Si prega di notare che questa è solo una guida approssimativa e l'itinerario potrebbe essere soggetto a modifiche in base alle esigenze della tenuta.

  We have two caravans, one close to the other, with two beds each, (therefore perfect for a couple or two friends) The caravan is really comfortable, in a part of land, located in the middle of the field, a little further from ours house, close to the chickens, so as to have absolute privacy and tranquility. You will only hear the rooster and the noise of the birds... (and some neighbor dogs sometimes). Inside the caravans, you can use the toilet and sink. The shower with hot water is located in the external bathrooms of the finca, a stone's throw from the caravans. It is often hot in Tenerife, therefore, you can use the washing machine, in the external bathrooms, once a week. Given the water problems (in general in the Canary Islands) we hope that you will be respectful and use water consciously. As for food, we will provide you with basic food (rice, pasta, legumes, flours...) and seasonal vegetables and fruit, taken from the cooperative below, or supplied directly from our garden (depending on what is available) . We also give you coffee, tea and sometimes jam for breakfast with corn cakes or rice and bread. There are eggs from our chickens. We don't provide meat or fish, but every now and then it can happen that we all eat together and have a nice barbecue of meat! We have a Guachinche (a kind of typical Canarian restaurant) which for now is only for our use, but above all it is at your disposal to cook your meals. It is a well organized and spacious kitchen, with everything you need for cooking. The food will be left in the Guachinche, for you, sometimes it may happen that we eat together.. we really like sharing moments and chats with you.. However, most of the time you will find the food provided in the Guachinche and you can eat comfortably outdoors in the sun if you wish or inside the guachinche on cooler days. On the days in which we organize some private event in the finca, we kindly ask you to prepare your food before the start of the event, or, to prepare it and take it to your caravans, (where there is a small table both inside and outside external) but this rarely happens for now. Wifi is only available in and around Guachinche.
  
  Abbiamo due caravane, una vicina all'altra, con due posti letto ciascuna, (quindi perfette per una coppia o per due amici)
  La caravana è davvero confortevole, in una parte di terreno, situata in mezzo al campo, poco più lontano dalla nostra casa, vicino alle galline, in modo da avere assoluta privacy e tranquillità. Sentirete solamente il gallo e il rumore dgli uccellini.. (e qualche cane dei vicini a volte).
  All'interno delle caravane, potete usare il wc e il lavandino. La doccia con acqua calda, si trova nei bagni esterni della finca, a due passi dalle caravane. Fa spesso caldo a Tenerife, perciò, potete
  
  Potete usufruire della lavatrice, nei bagni esterni, una volta alla settimana. Dati, i problemi d'acqua, (in generale alle Canarie) speriamo che sarete rispettosi e userete l'acqua in maniera consapevole.
  
  Per quanto riguarda il cibo, vi forniremo cibo base (riso, pasta, legumi, farine..) e ortaggi e frutta di stagione, presa alla coperativa qua sotto, o fornita direttamente dal nostro orto (in base a ciò che c'è). Vi diamo anche caffè, tè e a volte la marmellata per la colazione con gallette di mais o riso e pane. Ci sono le uova delle nostre galline.
  Non forniamo carne o pesce, ma ogni tanto può capitare che mangiamo tutti insieme e facciamo una bella grigliata di carne!
  
  Abbiamo un Guachinche (una specie di ristorante tipico delle Canarie) che per ora è solo a nostro uso, ma soprattutto è a disposizione vostra per cucinarvi i vostri pasti. Si tratta di una cucina ben organizzata e spaziosa, con tutto ciò che serve per cucinare. Il cibo verrà lasciato nel Guachinche, per voi, a volte può capitare che mangiamo assieme.. ci piace molto condividere con voi momenti e chiaccherate..
  Tuttavia, la maggior parte delle volte troverai il cibo fornito al Guachinche e potrai mangiare comodamente all'aperto al sole se lo desideri o all'interno del guachinche nei giorni più freschi.
  
  Nei giorni in cui organizziamo qualche evento privato nella finca, vi chiediamo gentilmente di prepararvi il vostro cibo prima dell'inizio dell'evento, oppure, di prepararvelo e portarvelo nelle vostre caravane, (dove si trova un tavolino sia all'interno che all'esterno) ma questo succede raramente per ora.
  
  Il Wifi, è disponibile solo nel Guachinche e nei pressi di esso.

  Our finca is located under the Teide pines at 800 m on the island of Tenerife. We are close to the wonderful panoramic road that goes up to the Teide natural park! You will also find several treks you can take that start near here. The bus stop is located a two-minute walk from our finca, after a short dirt road, in the center of the town of Chio. The aotubuses from Chios take a little longer to get down, certainly compared to the car, but so far all the volunteers have moved peacefully, to every part of the island! (obviously you have to have a bit of adaptability) Always near the bus stop, you can find a typical bar, with delicious breakfasts and a pizzeria right in front! This is a strategic place to move around the island in your free time and perfect for those who love nature!
  
  La nostra finca si trova sotto ai pini del Teide a 800 m sull'isola di Tenerife. Ci troviamo vicini alla meravigliosa strada panoramica che sale al parco naturale del Teide! Troverete anche diversi trekking da poter percorrere che partono qua vicino.
  La fermata del bus, si trova a due minuti a piedi dalla nostra finca, dopo una breve strada sterrata, nel centro del paese di Chio. Gli aotubus da Chio, ci mettono un pò di tempo a scendere in giù, rispetto alla macchina sicuramente, ma fin ora tutti i volontari si sono spostati tranquillamente, in ogni parte dell'isola! (ovviamente devi avere un pò di spirito di adattamento)
  Sempre vicino alla fermata del bus, potete trovare un bar tipico, con buonissime colazioni e una pizzeria proprio di fronte!
  Questo è un luogo strategico per muoversi nell'isola nel tempo libero e perfetto per chi ama la natura!
