Welcome to Ukiah! My home is a large, beautiful Italian-style house surrounded by vineyards and nestled in the redwood forests of Mendocino County. I’m currently working on an exciting project — reviving the ancient Roman tradition of Sapa (grape syrup) — and while I stay busy with this, I’m looking for some extra help around the house.
What I’m Looking For
The main things I need support with are:
House help: keeping things tidy and organized.
Meal prep & kitchen help: nothing too demanding, just simple meals.
General organizing: assisting with small tasks so I can stay focused on my work.
Anything extra you’d like to share — gardening, cooking, art, language skills, music, or other talents — would also be welcomed and appreciated, but the basics above are the main needs.

Staying here offers a chance to experience life in Northern California’s wine country and redwood forests, surrounded by vineyards, nature, and a relaxed pace of life. You’ll get a unique perspective on both traditional food culture and modern entrepreneurship.
Some things you can learn or share while here:
Ancient traditions: I’m working on reviving Sapa, an ancient Roman grape syrup, so you’ll get insight into historic food preservation and winemaking traditions.
Languages & cultural exchange: I’d love to practice or learn new languages with you. In return, I can share knowledge about California culture, food, and local history.
Business & creativity: If you’re interested in entrepreneurship, food production, or small business, you’ll see firsthand how a new project is being developed and can exchange ideas.
Local knowledge: I can share the best of the redwoods, Mendocino coast, and wine country, from foraging and hiking to food and art.
This is a place for relaxed exchange, meaningful conversations, and learning from each other’s experiences.

Alojamiento
You’ll have your own large private bedroom with a comfortable bed and plenty of space. You’ll also have your own private full bathroom with shower and a separate restroom, so you won’t need to share facilities.
The house itself is a giant Italian-style home surrounded by grape vineyards and nestled in the redwoods — spacious, peaceful, and a beautiful place to relax. There are common areas to enjoy as well, and you’ll have full privacy in your own room and bath.
