  We have Camper Van facilities and a cute small studio for vols. At the moment we are looking for :
  
  ******* Strong willing people with experience of working unsupervised on small DIY jobs, e.g. Fly screens, new door locks, mending fences, painting, clearing up, wood and timber repairs, gardening, hard landscaping etc Could be 2 friends or a couple. Work from as little as 12 hours!
  
  Extra details
  * Also people with construction skills. For example; fit doors, windows, build partitions with wood and plasterboard, general skilled wood and building repairs, tiling, plumbing, electrics, hard landscaping, concreting.
  
  ** we have a cute little volunteers house for two; cosy with woodstove and donkeys and animals provide a wake up call at 8.30 every morning! Also excellent facilities for camper vans
  
  Want to share your skills in a tranquil location in the countryside, near the beautiful Costa Brava coast with fabulous wild beaches and incredible wildlife? Join us. We are Francis and Helen, originally from the UK, who took on this rambling finca 21 years ago in order to find a gentler way of life. We have been featured three times on Workaway due to our high levels of 100 per cent positive feedback from volunteers.....we have been inactive but if in doubt please check out our reviews!
  
  We have 7000m2 of grounds that with your help will transform into a productive eco system, providing organic fruit and vegetables for home use, low maintenance and no watering gardens to support insects and birds, a retreat for injured and stray dogs and cats that find their way here and our dogs, goats and horses. We also offer free facilities for friends who want to practice or share their wholistic skills e.g. in Meditation, Qi Gong, Yoga, Tai Chi. These activities are empowered by the stunning location here of peace and beauty.
  
  We are experienced hosts, know how to look after you. We offer flexible stays. Currently we only have a small one room house for you to stay in with the goats and donkeys to wish you good morning! If you have your own transport - that's a bonus, as there is no regular public transport to (but we give lifts to fit with our shopping trips etc.). If you have a camper van, we can give you a parking space, electricity and water, plus use of a bathroom with shower and hot running water.
  
  What we offer you
  Accommodation in a small one roomed studio (see pics) or a caravan both with external shower room, kitchen ,hot and cold water and wifi in our finca, in return for 15-25 hours a week of help. Usually we are flexible on free time. We offer another option of only 3 hours help per day in return for accommodation only. .
  
  Our area is also rich in culture and visitor attractions. We are just 15 mins from Dali Surrealism center, Figueres and 30 mins from the Bay of Roses, the Pyrenees, Medieval Girona, Banyoles Olympic Lake and France. Barcelona is 55 mins by train. Our winters are mild and sunny, we're surrounded by woods and fields, so it is very sheltered, with incredible wildlife, majestic snow capped mountains and unpolluted skies - wonderful for stargazing.
  
  We are multilingual, experienced & supportive (top rated) hosts, with personal experience of volunteering ourselves. We try to be helpful, flexible and to share this exciting Catalunya adventure!

  Its about Janine, a woman who has been stressed by Barcelona life and yearns for a peaceful place nearby to unwind and find herself again.....so naturally they chose our place to film it! !! You can do the same as Janine too!..also Barcelona is only 55 mins away by train or car share e.g. Blablacar. And unspoilt beaches, lakes, medieval Girona and France are only 30 mins away.

  We enjoy visitors from all over the world and also Workawayers from far and wide from Finland to Hawaii and New Zealand and from Patagonia, Peru to Iceland....we have much experience in facilitating a warm and friendly atmosphere and we do everything we possibly can to help Workawayers access the myriad of cultural and natural attractions all around us.
  Of course nature walks, cycling and hiking are right on your doorstep here. In the many meals together, fiestas, arts and holistic events going on here we do everything we can to involve Workawayers and to give them real cultural interchange....See our reviews!!

  *We need strong willing person/s with good all round construction, maintenance and gardening skills and experience who can do tasks unsupervised. For example; maintain doors, windows and locks, cut plasterboard to size. plasterboard, a bit of digging, general skilled DIY, repairs, tiling, plumbing, hard landscaping. Could be 2 friends or couple with skills and experience.

  We have a small rustic house with outside bathroom. If not, a caravan. Both with separate kitchen shower/bathroom with hot and cold running water. We provide you with money or food to cook yourself.
  
  We have great facilities - animals, tennis, outdoor swimming pool, boules, a large and light filled room next to the pool which is great for yoga, meditation and just chilling when you want a change from being in the open air. Free laundry facilities. 20 min walk to a local village/bus, and we can give you lifts to the nearest town, Figueres which has good public transport links to Girona, Barcelona, France, the coast and inland towns in the Pyrenees.

  Our area is rich in culture and visitor attractions. We are just 15 mins from Surrealism centre Figueres and 30 mins from the Bay of Roses, the Pyrenees, Medieval Girona, Banyoles Olympic Lake and France.
  
  Approx 55 mins to Barcelona by train. Our winters are mild and sunny, we're surrounded by woods and fields, so it is very sheltered, with incredible wildlife and unpolluted skies - wonderful for stargazing.
  
  Set in extensive gardens with Romansque Medieval church, swimming pool, tennis, table tennis, boules, BBQ, hammocks, wifi and club house. Surrounded by woods and hills, near the Pyreneess yet close to mediterranean beaches and bays.
  
  Also the walks and ski stations of the Pyrenees. There are horses, goats, dogs, cats and a pig. It is an environment rich in flora & fauna and natural beauty. You may meet some amazing people here - visitors/friends from Barcelona and also all over the world.
  
  However, there are also quiet times too and always space to find your own peace & quiet. Our place is known for its peace & tranquility.
