    we are a local based NGO registered in 2004 under the Trustees Incorporation Act number TR/INC: 1678; registered with the Council for Non Governmental Organisation’s in Malawi (CONGOMA); and registered with the Non Governmental Organisation Board of Malawi. The organisation was formed by an Amon Lukhele, who is an orphan to facilitate interventions of the community ills.

    Our mandate is to provide optimal framework condition to vulnerable children, girls and boys, women and men and youth in rural communities. We focus our intervention on the promotion of women and girls empowerment; HIV and AIDS Management; SRHR; Health Justice; Human Rights; Social Protection; Climate Change; Agriculture; Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH); Advocacy and Networking; and inclusion of marginalized groups such as people with albinism, people living with HIV, elderly people, orphans and vulnerable children and people with physical challenges.

    2. Learn Nyau dance among other dances which common among Chewa people.
    3. learn how to cook local foods
    4. Learn other cultures such as weddings, sendoffs, worship services.
    5. Learn how families accommodate themselves
    6. Learn dressing.

    The traveler will work with women and girls and interacting with primary school learners/pupils in communities our organisation is working. These are local women and girls and rural primary schools who and where we work in the areas of village savings and loans groups. The traveler will be working with learners/pupils within the catchment area.

    She/he will be interacting with communities to learn diversity of cultures among Chewa tribe.

    Since the hosting organisation is a local base the traveler will be also doing the following things;
    a. coming to office and interacting with volunteers at the office
    b. sometimes going to meetings attending on behalf of the organisation
    c. Sometimes doing presentations on behalf of the organisations if need be.
    d. visiting the lake Malawi which is just less than 1 hour drive way.
    e. Interact with volunteers so that volunteers learn from the travelers
    f. on free time attend faith services and other gatherings such as sendoffs, weddings among the many things.

    The accommodation will be local houses and this will help the travellers to learn more culture and life style. The travellers will be located at local houses where the volunteers are coming from.

    Lilongwe most of the times is very warm and in October to December is hot sometimes.

    The area we are renting the house is high populated and its where we also learn more culture.

    When its off time, we will be walking going to the homes, sometimes using local min buses, bicycles taxes . Sighting to local markets within the area or in town.
