  Descripción

  We are an easy going couple, with 5 adult children who have flown the coop and moved away.
  We love where we live and would like to show our guests around and share what our local area has to offer.
  
  We have 3 dogs who are all very friendly,
  A indian ring neck parrot named Chooky.
  5 very quiet steers which are bulls who have had their balls removed .
  
  We live on a Nature refuge which is surrounded by Eungella National park and farming land.
  We plan to become as self sufficient as possible.
  We'd really appreciate some help to make this possible.

  Depending on their skill level the traveller will learn how to build fences, learn basic building techniques, learn how to grow food. Gardening mowing and building maintenance.
  Our property is situated close to the rainforrests of the Eungella national Park . The township of Eungella is situated
  1 hour drive West of Mackay.

  Our guests can enjoy our natureal surrounds , visit Broken River day use area where there is a very good chance youll see a platypus as well as other native flora and fauna.
  
  Fishing at the Eungella Dam, visiting Finch Hatton Gorge, Airlie Beach is only 2 hrs drive Mackay is 1 hrs drive.
  There's so much to explore in our region the choice is yours.
