We are an eco hostel located in the beautiful valley of Cotopaxi, a couple hours outside of Quito, the capital of Ecuador. Our hostel rests nestled near the base of an extinct volcano name Pasochoa, which means "the walk home" in Kichwa. In total, we are surrounded by 7 volcanoes, one of which is the world famous, Cotopaxi, which means "neck of the moon".

While being a part of our family, you will have the opportunity to help our local, mostly indigenous staff, meet and engage with travelers from all over the world, practice Spanish, practice English, and learn a bit of Kichwa along the way. You will also learn how one of the most popular hostels in the world operates from the inside.
The most important task of the volunteers is to be liaisons for our guests, and in so being, are here to ensure our guests feel at home, and have all they need while staying with us. One of the best tasks of the volunteers is taking guests on Nature walks to the waterfalls near our property; explaining to the the history of the space, and teaching the of the local flora. We also lead a hikes to the summit of Pasochoa which has one of the best views in all of Ecuador. We have a few loving and affectionate dogs, and you will also care for them while here.

We have a shared dorm for the volunteers with 5 beds, one of which is a double, and so welcome couples as well. There is a porch space in front of the dorm with a small fire pit.
The will receive breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, and unlimited banana bread and bananas. They only need pay half price for sodas and alcohol.
We provide a wealth of benefits to our volunteers.
- All our amazing food, curated by experienced chefs, is included. We also support all eating style, Omnivores, vegetarians, vegans, etc... For Breakfast we have Crepes with bananas & chocolate, fried eggs, and much more. For lunch, we start with a vegetarian soup, then a second main is served. Our dinners are family style, and we have meals from around the world; pizza night & burger night for example. We also provide unlimited Bananas and banana bread!
- Volunteers will be able to enjoy all our tours for free! We have a trip to the glacier of Cotopaxi, A trek to the summit of Rumiñahui, Horseback riding in Cotopaxi national Park, and more. You will also receive discounts on summiting Cotopaxi Volcano. So for those looking for a place to prepare for the amazing summits in Ecuador, we are the place to be.
- You will be able to enjoy time feeding our llamas banana peels and flowers, snuggling with our dogs, and enjoying the variety of wildlife that visits us.
