  Are you looking for a unique and authentic stay here in Coyhaique, Patagonia? Then you've come to the right place. I'm Jorge. After early retirement as a veterinarian, I can now dedicate my time to everything that makes me happy. A little outside of Coyhaique, I built my little paradise. This is where I have my cattle, sheep and horses, since I am a passionate rodeo huaso. Good food is also very important to me, there is nothing like a delicious roast of my own animals.
  
  My mother, my son and my employee, who takes care of the cattle, also live on my lands.
  
  You would live and eat at my mother's house. Since she recently underwent hip surgery, she needs help especially in the garden, the greenhouse, but also at home. Your tasks would also include taking care of the horses. On weekends or by agreement, you will have time to explore the beautiful Coyhaique area. There is a lot to discover and many different activities that are offered and I am happy to help you plan something. If you are interested, I will be happy to take you to the rodeos, where you will come into contact with many Chileans and a special part of our culture.
  
  I hope for some independence and that you are proactive. You must be interested in horses and not be afraid of animals. The job requires good physical condition. After work or on weekends, you can ride a horse, if you don't have experience in riding yet, I will be happy to introduce you and I would be happy to teach you how to ride. Since my mother doesn't know much English, you need to speak Spanish at a basic level.

Tus tareas también incluirían cuidar los caballos. Los fines de semana o por acuerdo, tendrá tiempo para explorar la hermosa zona de Coyhaique. Hay mucho por descubrir y muchas actividades diferentes que se ofrecen y estoy feliz de ayudarlo a planificar algo.   Espero cierta independencia y que seas proactivo. Debes interesarte por los caballos y no tener miedo de los animales. El trabajo requiere una buena condición física. Después del trabajo o los fines de semana, puedes montar a caballo, si aún no tiene experiencia en equitación, estaré encantado de presentarle y seria feliz enseñarte a montar. Como mi madre no sabe mucho inglés, es necesario que hables español a un nivel básico.

  We are an open community all over the world, we still like to learn something new from all cultures. As Patagón proudly born, we still live the traditions here and it makes us very happy to show you the typical traditions of here. If you come here, you will learn a lot about traditional agriculture and especially about rodeo, since I grew up with both and I have lived these traditions since I was little. Since we don't know English well, your Spanish will automatically improve and maybe our English will improve. I can teach you everything about riding and riding horses through the Rodeo.
  
  Since I also have a field and animals in Río Tranquilo, I sometimes go there. If you are interested, you can join me and get to know this part of Patagonia during my travels.
  
  Somos una comunidad abierto por todo el mundo, igual nos gusta aprender algo nuevo de todas las culturas. Como Patagón orgullosamente nacido, todavía vivimos las tradiciones aquí y nos hace muy felices monstrarte las traditiones típicas de aca. Si vienes aquí, aprenderás mucho sobre la agricultura tradicional y especialmente sobre el rodeo, ya que crecí con ambos y he vivido estas tradiciones desde que era pequeño. Como no sabemos bien el inglés, tu español mejorará automáticamente y tal vez nuestro inglés mejore. Te puedo enseñar todo sobre montar y manzar los caballos por el Rodeo.
  Como también tengo un campo y animales en Río Tranquilo, a veces voy allí. Si te interesa, puedes acompañar me y conocer este parte de la Patagonia durante mis viajes.

  As it is written in the description, you will help my mother with the daily tasks, in the garden and greenhouse and you will take care of the 8-10 horses. It's not that you have to do all these things, but I just want to give you an overview of the areas you can stay in. We don't depend on their help, but we are happy when we can share our lives and cultures. Of course, we will show you everything and we are always there if you have any questions or doubts. You can also organize the work yourself when you are familiar with everything. Sometimes, other people will also help you with the horses. In fact, we are very flexible and adapt part of the work to your interests, because for us it is important that you enjoy the work and do not feel it as a burden.
  
  Estoy feliz de recibir ayuda con trabajos de campo en general, con animales, la infrastructura, en el invernadero, labores de casa, cuidado de caballos, aseo de pesebreras, alimentación de ganado y si quieres puedes aprender de usar de maquinaria agrícola.
  
  Como está escrito en la descripción, ayudarás a mi madre con las tareas diarias, en el jardín y invernadero y cuidarás de los 8-10 caballos. No es que tengas que hacer todas estas cosas, pero solo quiero darte una visión general de las áreas en las que puedes quedarte. No dependemos de su ayuda, pero somos felices cuando podemos compartir nuestras vidas y culturas. Por supuesto, te lo mostraremos todo y siempre estamos ahí si tienes alguna pregunta o duda. También puedes organizar el trabajo tú mismo cuando te hayas familiarizado con todo. A veces, otras personas también te ayudarán con los caballos. En realidad, somos muy flexibles y adaptamos parte del trabajo a tus intereses, porque para nosotros es importante que disfrutes del trabajo y no lo sientas como una carga.

  Alojamiento

  You live with my mother. A private room awaits you here. You will share the bathroom and kitchen with her. There is hot water in the bathroom and we heat with wood. Nearby is the stable, the garden and the greenhouse. I myself live further away, about 10 minutes on foot. So far we don't have Wi-Fi but you can buy a very cheap chip. Usually, my mother cooks for you, but you may help with the dishes or the preparation, if you like to do it.
  
  Vives con mi madre. Aquí te espera una habitación privada. Compartirás el baño y la cocina con ella. Hay agua caliente en el baño y calentamos con leña. Muy cerca se encuentra el establo, el jardín y el invernadero. Yo mismo vivo mas lejos, a unos 10 minutos a pie. Hasta ahora no tenemos Wifi pero puedes comprarte un chip muy barato. Por lo general, mi madre cocina para ti, pero puede ser que ayudes con los platos o la preparación, si te gusta hacerlo.

  En realidad, solo acepto mujeres, ya que vivirás con mi madre. Desafortunadamente, solo podemos llevarlo si deseas pasar más de un mes con nosotros, porque la introducción llevará demasiado tiempo.
