Hi there! We are Judi and David, former workawayers, settled since 5 years ago at David's family farm, a 50 hectares farm where we have steers, sheep, hens and horses. Lot to do around... So be welcome!

Judi is from Venezuela, David is a local farmer. Both have traveled on their own and together doing volunteering, so lot of things to share.
Ayuda
All the chores in the farm are shared, including the home chores, and we'll be patient teachers if you have no idea how to do them.
* Clarification *
We get a lot of requests from people who is particularly interested in horses. To them we want to explain we love our three mares but they are not pets living in a stable, they are working horses living in their own in the field, with no need of grooming, mucking, the only care they need is some "pedicure" every now and then and of course grass and water that they help themselves. We ride them to move our cattle between 2 fields 2 kilometers apart, but that it happens depending on the grass availability, so there is not a fixed schedule to do it. Sometimes we ride a couple of times in a week, sometimes just once in several weeks. Of course if you are an experienced rider can ride them in your free time. Remember this is a farm, not a riding school 😉.

An old house with a private room for workawayers with private bathroom. We love to cook, so the idea is having the meals together.

We are 32km from nearest town and no public transportation available, we have a vehicle, but we go to town just once a week or less.
We recommend you to have a vaccine against tetanus, it's a potential risk if you work in a farm (ours or any other)
We prefer to host people not picky about food, try whatever the locals eat it is part of the cultural exchange, and we would say it is a big part. Of course we respect health issues such celiac or allergies.
