We are Anna and Alan Gove, we are very fortunate to live in the spectacular wine region of the Okanagan, in the beautiful Village of Naramata. Our home faces the lake so we have spectacular water, mountain and vineyard views all around, as well as a beautiful garden.
We and are looking for help in November and April.
We are looking for help in the garden in the spring and fall, as well as some general maintenance around the house, possibly painting, house cleaning and cooking.
We are not asking for help with any business activities.
We can accommodate a couple or 2 individuals. If individuals, you would each have your own beautifully decorated private bedroom and bathroom as well as a living space and kitchen. All bedrooms and the living space face the spectacular lake view.
Workers would be asked to help 4-5 hours per day, 5 days per week in return for room and board.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

We are well travelled and love to exchange stories and experiences with other travellers. We love to cook and would welcome you to cook meals with us, and or for us as part of a cultural exchange. We live in a beautiful wine region and would be happy to share our knowledge in this area as well. I am an Interior Designer and Alan is the former Vice President of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and has extensive knowledge in Orchestral music.

We can accommodate a couple or 2 individuals. If individuals, you would each have your own private bedroom with a king size bed, and private bathroom. The lower floor of our home is a full suite with a kitchen so you will be able to cook your own meals with food that we provide, but we are also happy to share some meal times for a cultural exchange. We eat everything, but can accommodate some food preferences. There is also a full living area for you to enjoy with a spectacular lake view.
We don't have any pets and don't allow smoking of any type on our property.Algo más...
Naramata is a quiet village about 15 minutes drive from the nearest town of Penticton. There is a beautiful lake and lovely beaches. We have a store and a pub in the village. There is a very limited bus service twice per day. Volunteers would be welcome to catch a ride into town whenever we are heading in for groceries or errands. There are lots of lovely hiking trails, beautiful bike rides and lots of wineries to visit. The area is not suitable for people who are looking for an exciting night life. Having a car would be helpful if you want to sight see beyond Naramata.
We cannot accommodate pets, smokers or families with young children.Un poco más de información
