"We are entering uncharted territory and working with countries to find hi-tech, low-tech and no-tech solutions to assure the continuity of learning," UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay said in a statement.

Some countries that have closed their schools have implemented online learning strategies. Universities in the Repubic of Indonesia, including Universitas Indonesia and Universitas Gadjah Mada, have announced they will be cancelling on-campus classes and transitioning to online courses. Some Indonesian universities, like private University, are following suit, while others are exploring such strategies.

Schools have closed for a virus threat, and students are now learning from home.

    1. Our students have loving families.
    2. Our students will learn through distance learning.
    3. As a society, we will help prevent Covid-19’s spread.

'We can't flip a switch': E-learning unlikely solution for all Indonesian students if COVID-19 closes schools.

This project just started a months ago, and its Startup in educational.

English language is important and people all over the world decide to study it as a second language.

The problem is about if the students want to take an English course but the prices are expensive, about IDR 3M / levels.
Is it no problem for the rich and middle class but what about lower class? and they have no much moneyfor that?
My team and I try to make the solutions for them. We have about 20 students so far, and they can pay as they can, we ask them about IDR 200K / months (its for books, modules) we give them two options: full payments or paying for course in Installments.

Honestly Ms Benya and I are main team so far, and we still need some people join us to grow this project.

I am Ariyanto, I was graduated from Mechanical Engineering from Universitas Indonesia, I am passionate about Educational, Environmental, and global issues.
My current project is: Universitas Indonesia Project for Asian and International Relations is a Universitas Indonesia partner organization of the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations.
I have attended International conferences in some countries.

I was working as an Engineer, Coordinator Earth Hour program from WWF Indonesia, and UniSadhuGuna International Education: is the largest and most integrated international education pathway provider in Indonesia.
I was joining volunteering and social programs.

I was living in BALI and currently in Jakarta, My parents live in Bekasi, West Java Province (about 10 km away from Jakarta)
My parents retired from Civil Servants, My Dad is Javanese and my mom is Sundanese (we are big family).
I have one younger brother, he graduated from Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Faculty of Social and Political Sciences) in Central Java and currently he is teaching at school.
We are Moslem family, as we know that Indonesia is Moslem majority country, we are very tolerant to others.
For me, no matter who you are, where you come from, or what religion you are, we are all from the Earth. :)

I really like meeting new, interesting people on my travels, as well as learning new languages, new recipes, seeing new cultures.
I love hiking, traveling and meeting people around the world, learn about other countries and cultures. Things that I have learned from traveling and meeting new people are priceless. It changed my view of the world. I have many friends from around the world. :)

    Teach, Learn, Share:
I can teach you some Indonesian: Bahasa Indonesia, Javanese and Sundanese language.
Nah, I can speak more than three languages. :)

The Highest Spirit, called Sukma in Javanese.
The Sukma is needed to achieve inner harmony, for the harmony of the family, for the harmony of the nation, for the harmony of the world.
The Sukma is only good for benefit of the world. So that we are able to live in the world in harmony, to live a happy life. So one , must begin with improving one's self!

I would love to help and share what I have with people around the world, and make long-lasting friendship.

First: I need to give some information to the Indonesian Immigration office (on web) before you stay and join this program.

Second: You will arrive to Jakarta and spend the first days in Jakarta before being transferred to Bekasi. Your first days in Jakarta will include a tour of the city. There is a good public transportation from the airport to Jakarta / Bekasi like airport train and bus, but when I have time I can pick you up at the airport, you can contact me one day before your arrival, or if you are already in Indonesia.

Third: You arrive into Jakarta airport. On the first day, our dedicated staff will take you through an introduction program to give you an overview of your time with us. This first day will provide an introduction to teaching. You will also get a culture orientation- the main do’s and don’ts, so that you don’t unintentionally offend anyone during your time in Indonesia (simple things like taking your shoes off when entering a home, or say hi and give your smile when meet someone). I will teach you some Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian Language)

Fourth: Your accommodation will be a local house in Bekasi. The room are clean and comfortable, double bed and the room are equipped with fan (private room). The bathrooms are shared with my family and have no Western style toilets. There is living room and a basic kitchen for you to use, and of course the accommodation has Wi-Fi. I am still looking a new house to rent. I have own transport and scooters, you can use it if you have drive license and of course if you are a good driver. :)

Fifth: For locations all meals will be at the local morning markets where you can get authentic local Indonesian cuisine. The food is fresh and delicious at these markets and its a great way of soaking in local culture and seeing how the locals live. There are some great options for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. We provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Last: Weekends : are free for your leisure and you only volunteer Monday to Friday. (We can go to the nice bars, clubs, or some beautiful beaches and nature not so far from Jakarta.

We understands that safety is a vital concern for volunteers, and we take our responsibility to keep you safe very seriously.

    Cheers! :)
