Hi! I’m Kurnia, and I live with my husband and our three wonderful daughters in a friendly, culturally rich neighborhood in Malang, East Java.
Our home is full of warmth, laughter, and meaningful activities — when you stay with us, you’ll quickly become part of the family! 💛

👨👩👧👧 Meet Our Family
We’re a homeschooling family, so our days are full of creativity and curiosity. Each of our girls has her own passions:
🎤 Our oldest (14) is fluent in English (even more confident than me!) and loves public speaking and playing guitar.
🎹 Our second daughter is learning German and piano, and enjoys discovering new cultures.
🎈 Our youngest is full of energy and always ready to join any fun activity!

💬 What You Can Do Here
We’d love to welcome volunteers who enjoy sharing their skills and spending time with children. You can:

Travellers will experience real Indonesian family life and learn about our local culture, language, and daily traditions. You’ll have the chance to join us in cooking, visiting local markets, and exploring cultural or historical sites around Malang.
You’ll also learn how homeschooling works in Indonesia, how we combine creativity with learning, and how community activities bring people together. It’s a great opportunity to improve your language skills, try authentic local food, and make meaningful connections with local families. -

Everyone has different talents, so we'd love you to help in a way that matches your skills and interests. You don't have to fit into just one category—many of our volunteers enjoy trying different things during their stay.

🌱 Coffee Farm & Nature
We also spend time at our family coffee farm, so if you enjoy nature or agriculture, you're welcome to join us. Depending on the season, you might experience planting, harvesting, processing coffee, or simply learning about local farming and rural life.

Tell us! We'd love to hear your ideas. Some of our most memorable activities have come from volunteers who shared something unique.
One of the best parts of volunteering with us is the variety. In one week, you might teach English, help edit videos, play sports with the children, visit the coffee farm, and join a cultural event. We hope you'll not only share your own skills but also leave with new experiences, friendships, and memories from many different parts of Indonesian life. -
