NEW OPPORTUNITY
A sustainable ECOLOGIAL Retreat - permaculture, reforestation, organic food forest and habitat restoration one hour from Medellin.
The reforestation / trails, art and park experience is our main focus and the area we are looking for the most help.
The concept is a Balinese inspired spa retreat incorporating microhome style bungalows and small houses scattered throughout a lush botanical garden connected by meandering pathways, rope bridges and raised walkways, treehouse lookouts and gazebos with naturally inspired water features, both hot and cold pools from our own pure spring water. This is a long term project with opportunity for extended stays. We are seeking:
1) construction workers, artists, sculptors and creators willing to do art instillations and whimsical projects throughout the land
2) gardeners and landscaping experience, botanists, farmers, experience in germination and planting
3) Social media, photographers, designers and publicists to help us present our foundation and work to the other charities in the area, we are releasing wildlife thru 3 foundations now, and working with the local environmental authority to offer seminars of permaculture, sustainable farming and integrated living, as well as holistic retreat space for soldiers with PTSD and those interested in traditional medicine.

I am fluent in Spanish and have several audio courses here I can share for free as well as offering my time as a tutor while we work together. I am a sail boat captain and a freediving instructor and willing to offer my expertise in both those subjects. I have worked as a designer, writer, and entrepreneur and have travelled extremely extensively for a long period of my life and would consider myself an expert of sourcing products in foreign countries and starting the sort of enterprise you will be volunteering at. I have lived in Colombia for more than 3 years now and travelled extensively here and can offer great advice on where to go.

I am looking for intelligent, self starting people who can adapt to the project and work alongside me as well as adopt the project as their own and contribute their own ideas to it.
Landscaping, design, art instalations and Gardening skills are also appreciated. I am a busy person and the reforestation project has been a lot of work to pull off - these sort of projects are usually undertaken by a team or a group of investors and I find myself running like crazy to get things done a lot of the time. I don't want people here who are not able to think or work independently - I may give you a project but if you have a better idea, please share it with me. I value creativity and intelligence and new ideas. I can offer spanish lessons, I am fluent in both english and spanish, and I have a lot of expertise in foreign trade and import, design, and business, and am always keen to talk to interested, interesting people.

Farm: Typical colombian style finca house, 1 private room, 8 bunk beds in a shared dorm room, free reign of the finca and a 20 minute walk to town, use of the farm bike. Access to the new properties as they are constructed. An apartment in town, 7 private rooms with some dorm style beds.
