Descripción
My name is Josue (Joshua), and I live in Dos Brazos de Rio Tigre in the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica. Gateway to Corcovado NP, jungle meets the ocean in an area that is a little blast from the past. 1 month minimum stay.
Dos Brazos borders the world renowned Corcovado National Park, the reason I came to Costa Rica years ago. This is not your average small town. It is off the beaten path. We have satellite wifi for all types of communication but no real store, restaurant or place to hang out. You will need to be self sufficient and adaptable.
Regarding volunteering: A single person, couple, or friends traveling together would be the perfect situation. Staying by yourself can get a little boring and solitary after a couple weeks. Couples/friends have been well suited for our isolated environment. I prefer experienced volunteers who understand the positives and negatives of volunteering. Unfortunately, first time volunteers have not always been successful.

We are located on the border of one of the most biodiverse places on the planet, Corcovado National Park, in the Osa peninsula of Costa Rica. IF you like nature and being off the beating path you will be more than pleasantly surprised by unplugging from the hustle and bustle from city life and enjoying the simpler life.

Extremely efficient and amazing volunteers.
They are self motivated and required little assistance.
I highly recommend them to any future workaway host.

Josh was a very generous, patient and friendly host. The work we did included painting, gardening, and a little bit of marketing - nothing was too strenuous and it was very rewarding.
