We are a Jewish family, I am NZ born and my husband has immigrated from Israel over 30 years ago, we are open, friendly, easy going people, and have a 16 year old daughter and 18 year old son living at home, and another daughter living overseas. We share the house with our very social dog and 2 cats. We’re good cooks and own a local café. When we first came to our farm, there was nothing here but a trough and a boundary fence and building infrastructure and landscaping has been a major and very enjoyable part of our lives for many years now. The work you do here with us, will be part of the dream that we are creating here on the farm for our gorgeous children. We live in the hills, with stunning rural outlook and gorgeous sea views.

You will get to work and live in rural New Zealand, here you will experience a simpler way of life away from the hustle and bustle of the city, where we enjoy spending much of our time working towards creating a beautiful environment on our farm, for our future generations. We love good conversation and have had many memorable experiences with working travelers when our 3 children were younger.
Our home place of Waipu is a small Scottish village founded by Scots migrants in the mid 1800's and the village and surrounding farms are home to around 2500 people many of them descendants of the original settlers. It's a heritage the town is proud of and has a lovely little museum telling the stories of the great migration. It's a close nit community, where you wave to everybody you drive past and greet people in the street.Proyectos con niños

We live on a beautiful farm in the North of New Zealand, where there is always plenty of work to do, farm projects and clean up, maintenance, gardening and tractor work. We try to work from 9 -1, stop for lunch and then your afternoons are free. If you’re wanting to go exploring, then our place is best suited to those with a vehicle as we are in a rural location, but no problem if you just want to hang around the farm. Sometimes we will work along side you and sometimes you will work alone, depending on what is happening at the time.

We have a Bedroom with Queen Bed in the family home and free wifi is available. For breakfast it’s cereal or toast, lunch will generally be sandwiches or eggs and salad, and a good healthy dinner. The house is large so there is plenty of space to disappear if you want some alone time. Relax in the Hammocks under the palm tree and read a good book, or go exploring near by.

Close driving proximity to some stunning beaches, caves with glow worms, waterfalls, and we have native bush behind the house waiting to be explored. It’s a 15 minute drive to the closest village and 45 minutes to Whangarei City, where you can visit Hundterwasser's last architectural design, or walk the water front and visit a bar.
If you’re a musician and missing your instrument while travelling, we have a piano, guitar, violin and drums, which you are welcome to play. We also have some exercise equipment if you're keen, or relax in the hammock if that's more your style.Un poco más de información
