  Hello everyone!
  
  My name is Stefanie. I (58) live here in our house in a quiet suburb of Lüneburg with my daughter Emilie (16) and our cat "Mautzi-Mautz" (14).
  
  After 14.5 years in the Oberallgäu region, we moved back to Lüneburg in February. We love Hamburg, and somehow our time down there had run out.
  
  Lüneburg is a vibrant university town with the highest density of pubs and restaurants in Europe after Madrid ;-)
  
  We also particularly appreciate the proximity to Hamburg. I grew up in Hamburg myself. Hamburg is our "pearl."
  
  From our house, you can immediately go for a walk in the woods if you need a bit of peace and quiet. It's a 15-minute bike ride to the city center. In the village, we have a bakery, an Edeka supermarket, a DM drugstore, and a pharmacy all within easy reach.
  
  Here, we enjoy the advantages of a cool university town combined with being close to nature.

  Mein Name ist Stefanie. Ich (58J) lebe hier in unserem Haus in einem ruhigen Vorort von
  Lüneburg mit meiner Tochter Emilie (16J) und unserer Katze "Mautzi-Mautz" (14J).
  Wir sind nach 14,5 Jahren Oberallgäu wieder zurück nach Lüneburg im Februar gezogen. Wir lieben Hamburg und irgendwie war die Zeit dort unten abgelaufen.
  Lüneburg ist eine lebendige Studentenstadt mit der höchsten Kneipen/Restaurantdichte in Europa nach Madrid ;-)
  Ausserdem schätzen wir besonders die Nähe zu Hamburg. Ich selbst bin in HH aufgewachsen. Hamburg ist unsere "Perle".
  Von uns zuhause kann man sofort im Wald spazieren gehen, wer mal ein bißchen Abstand braucht. Mit dem Fahrrad sind es 15 Minuten in die City. Im Dorf haben wir schnell erreichbar einen Bäcker, Edeka, DM, Apotheke.
  
  Wir geniessen hier die Vorzüge von cooler Studentenstadt und gleichzeitiger Nähe zur Natur.

  I've traveled extensively in my life, spent a considerable amount of time on a farm in South America, and love cultural exchange. I enjoy making music at home, but I'm completely out of practice. We have a piano, an electric bass, a flute, a guitar, and several acoustic instruments. I enjoy singing with others. I like social gatherings, and we enjoy playing games (dice games and strategy games). I appreciate ending the day with a quiet supper or even sitting by a fire outside. My passion is handicrafts. I can do pretty much anything with thread: weaving, knitting, crocheting, sewing... I especially love flowers and herbs in the garden. I envision a garden that's a good mix of natural and creative design. I don't want to create a park ;-) In any case, I'm looking forward to cultural exchange, to laughing and working together.
  
  
  In meinem Leben bin ich selbst schon viel gereist, habe länger in Südamerika auf einer Farm verbracht und liebe den kulturellen Austausch.
  
  Ich liebe Hausmusik, bin aber komplett aus der Übung. Zuhause gibt es ein Klavier, einen E-Bass, eine Querflöte, eine Gitarre und einige Akustikinstrumente. Ich singe gern gemeinsam.
  Ich mag geselliges Beisammensein und wir spielen gern (Würfelspiele und Strategiespiele).
  Ich schätze es, den Tag mit einem ruhigen Abendbrot abzuschliessen oder sogar am Feuer draußen.
  
  Meine Leidenschaft ist das Handarbeiten. Ich kann so ziemlich alles mit Fäden: weben, stricken, häkeln, nähen... dort gebe ich mein Wissen sehr gerne weiter und helfe bei deinen Projekten.
  
  Ich liebe im Garten besonders Blumen und Kräuter. Ich wünsche mir im Garten eine gute Mischung aus naturbelassen und kreativer Gestaltung.
  
  Auf jeden Fall freue ich mich über kulturellen Austausch. Über gemeinsames Lachen und Wirken.

  Hello fellow Workawayers, I live in a peaceful and beautiful spot surrounded by nature, where I'm gradually creating a warm, creative, and inviting home. My project is to develop my house and garden with love, simplicity, and personal expression. I've already renovated a 250-year-old wooden house myself and have a lot of experience with design and renovation. For all the more technically demanding tasks, I work with professional tradespeople (currently roofers and stove fitters). With Workawayers, I want to focus on light, creative, and collaborative activities that we can do together. Here's how you can help me:

  Hallo liebe Workawayer,
  ich lebe an einem ruhigen und schönen Ort inmitten der Natur, wo ich mir Schritt für Schritt ein warmes, kreatives und einladendes Zuhause gestalte.
  Mein Projekt besteht darin, Haus und Garten mit viel Liebe, Einfachheit und persönlichem Ausdruck zu entwickeln. Ich habe selbst schon ein 250 Jahre altes Holzhaus saniert und viel Erfahrung mit der Gestaltung und Renovierung.
  Für alle fachlichen und handwerklich anspruchsvollen Arbeiten arbeite ich mit professionellen Handwerkern zusammen (aktuell Dachdecker und Ofenbauer).
  Mit Workawayern möchte ich mich auf leichte, kreative und gemeinsame Tätigkeiten konzentrieren, die wir zusammen umsetzen können.

  Emilie ist sehr sprachgewand mit (Spanisch, französch und englisch). Ich spreche keine weitere Sprache wirklich gut, da ich nie lange eine Sprache benutzt habe. Finde mich aber gern in andere Sprachen ein.

  Alojamiento

  You'll sleep in your own private area with a private bathroom in the future holiday cottage right next door. It includes a natural rubber mattress and bedding. There's a kitchen in the main house that's available for your use at any time. I don't like to cook every day myself. We're very health-conscious and eat mostly vegetarian food. Should you need any additional furniture (or a second mattress for couples), it can be arranged immediately.
  
  Du schläfst in einem eigenen Bereich mit eigenem Bad im Anbau das direkt neben uns ist.
  Dort gibt es eine Naturkautschukmadratze und Lattenrosr und Bettzeug.
  Eine Küche gibt es im Haupthaus, die jeder Zeit zur Verfügung steht.
  Ich selbst koche nicht so gerne jeden Tag.
  Wir sind sehr gesundheitsbewußt und ernähren uns überwiegend vegetarisch.
  Solltest Du weitere Möbel brauchen (oder bei Pärchen eine 2. Madratze) kann die sofort besorgt werden.
