Help a family with renovating an old house and live a french rural family experience in Cours-Les-Bains area, France

  Hello ! We are a french family living in the country in the south-west of France (near Bordeaux).
  We have been renovating on our own an old house for 15 years (!!). It's a very nice project, but it takes a lot of time... We now have 3 children, and both of us work. We think that hosting workawayers can be a nice option to join cultural exchange and getting some help to finish the house. It's kind of travelling while staying home :) !
  We would be very happy to welcome travellers to help us finishing that renovation while sharing day to day life and getting to know something about their life, language or culture.
  We also would appreciate language exchange :
  - after a one-year-trip around the world, our children have begun to learn english as a second language. Training would be great !
  - our older daughter learns russian at school, it would be great if someone could help her !
  All in all, we need dynamic people for different kind of help, building of course, but helping with the kids or the house could be nice too.

  We are very interested in travelling and cultural exchange, so you would be welcome to talk about you and your country. In here, you will experience a french family life, including french cooking ;). We can teach specific skills in eco-building. Working time should be discussed (for example 2 full days working and 2 full days off + weeked, so you can have time to visit our country !)

  Ayuda

  We need help with the work on the house, that means masonry, plaster, painting, but also gardening, cutting wood etc. Besides, we can ask for a little help in the house or with the kids. We also would love to practice english, spanish or russian ! Please tell us what you can do !

  Alojamiento

  Room :
  You will have your own private room (queen size bed) with bathroom/toilets attached.
  We also have 2 double beds on a mezzanine above the living room. There is privacy but please note it's not totally closed. Bathroom and toilets will be shared.
  
  Board :
  We will provide meals, either family meals or food you can cook yourself if we are not home.

  Coming with your own car would be easier !! But we can provide rides whenever we go to work for example.
  Bordeaux city is one hour driving (or bus + train), first wineyards need 30 min. Bazas (Medieval town) and Casteljaloux (Medieval and Spa town), 2 nice touristic towns are 10-15 min driving. Forest is all around you can have a walk anytime of the day ! Having your own car is important if you don't want to feel too isolated and stuck in the forest (more than 3km to reach the first villagewith foodstore), but if you don't mind staying home, walking or bicycle, it should be fine for you :).
