Need help starting April for one month or more. If only a one week commitment is all you can do that’s great also.
We have a small garden that needs cleaning and planting of our herbs and vegetables. Work is by no means strenuous or labor intensive. We have a garden tractor for moving dirt and mowing the yard.
We live in a Rural area in central BC. My husband works at home operating our own business building log furniture. I work away from home doing bookeeping. We live in a mountain forested area, and we receive quite a bit of snow in the winter months, so an ideal place for a nature lover or someone who is looking for some quiet time.
Our house alows for a private room, with Digital Cable TV and wireless internet. We also have a hot tub for soaking up those summer nights watching the stars.
Summer time is great here as we are a 5 minute walk to Mara Lake, beaches, fishing and boating. The forested area behind our house offers many hiking trails with gorgeous views.
On off days not working you can chill on our deck, take a scenic atv ride up the mountain trails, or come boating with us and enjoy what the lake has to offer.

We re looking for help doing small amounts of yard work with our organic garden and lawn care.
Given time we can show you the highlights of the surrounding area. Wine vineyards, ski hills, local artisan markets and much more.

If you are an avid skier, there are two ski hills within a one hour drive. We have many hiking trails into the bush right at our back door.
During the summer months we are a 5 minute hike to the lake which has beautiful sandy beaches for suntanning ,fishing and boating for the water skier.
For the avid golfer there is an abundance of beautiful golf courses within a 10 minute drive.
Also the Shuswap boasts dozens of wine vineyards within driving distance of us. They do local tours and samples of their wines are supplied.
For those who just want to relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the peaceful surroundings, then this is the place for you.
