We are looking to continue tidying up around our 500yr old farmhouse, this is basic tasks, clearing out of the old barn, a bit of painting and plenty of gardening.
We are in our mid 60’s married for 48yrs, have 4 adult children who are all married with children of their own, and live away from home.
We live in a large 450yr old+ French farm house,,which we have been renovating for 25 + yrs on a small budget,
After 30 odd years in the removal business, we are both now retired. Whilst we both have quite severe spinal Injury's, we try to be as active as possible, and enjoy walking, cycling, and swimming in our pool, we are very open minded about other cultures, food, tradition and customs, and are eager to experience different ways of life.
We except all, but would appreciate advance warning for any special requirements, eg vegan, gluten free …. -

Hopefully you will benefit from a relaxing and slower pace of life, which immerses you in the local culture which you may never want to leave.
We offer bikes for your personal use to experience the beautiful country side and quant villages, we also go out to as many music nights, gourmet nights and wine festivals that is possible, hoping you can experience the culture in this beautiful part of France together with us.
We enjoy relaxing around a bbq with good company and good wine and music, welcoming anyone who wants to jam. -

It is very old farm house, we are able to offer 2double bedrooms, both of which have room for extra single beds in. There are 2 shared bathrooms, the bedrooms are above the living area. Plenty of relaxation area's. we do have a swimming pool, we are 2.6klm from the village, we are happy to supply bikes, which we tend use, rather than the car, or transport to the local village or the 2 main towns, both 10 klm away. We do not smoke, but would be happy to except smokers, as long as they only smoke outside the property.

We have unlimited Internet access and free telephone calls to European land lines.
As we approach warmer days, there are fates, and more on every weekend, also lots of markets to visit and vide greniers to visit on Sunday's, there are many picturest villages in the area, and we woud be happy to take anyone in there free time to explore. -

We stayed at Bill and Deborah's for a month and it's been a wonderful and enriching experience. The working days weren't too hard and they always gave us different tasks, and in the rest days we could always go cycle in the nearby villages.

Charlotte & Elisa, are very pleasant and hard working. They were very happy to cycle out and join in with visiting fetes and different villages. They worked well with others and independently, with no complaints. We enjoyed their company and enjoyed experimenting with vegan meals. We would happily recommend them and welcome them back.

Bill and Deborah are very welcoming and had a wide range of jobs to get stuck into around their lovely farmhouse. They were always very thoughtful and provided tasty local food and drink throughout. We visited a local fete one evening and would have done more had it not been for a medical emergency.
