  Hi, I am Jelle,
  
  I live on my sailboat at the Ionian Islands in Greece. My girlfriend will be with me in October, sailing around these beautiful islands. It is the most amazing time of the year as most tourists are gone, the weather is usually great (not too hot), and the water temperature is great for swimming.
  
  Who we are looking for:
  
  Since my girlfriend will work with me (I am a captain) as a hostess/chef on charter boats, she needs some help from a chef that can teach her about:
  
  Preparation of shrimp, octopus, and lobster, desserts and cocktails.
  Also, a beautiful presentation and working efficiently regarding mise en place, etc.
  
  Needless to say, you have to have restaurant experience, be a chef, and have experience in the named topics.
  
  What we offer:
  A week of sailing with us, island hopping to beautiful locations, you will have an amazing time.
  The working hours will just be during our trip making the food and enjoying it afterwards.
  We will make sure you have fun; we are very relaxed people.
  
  You will have your own bed, but don't expect much privacy (a curtain).
  
  Work hours: 5 hours, 5 days (but probably it is better to spread these hours over 7 days)
  Included: breakfast, lunch, dinner + accommodation + drinks+ diesel + port + marina costs.
  (we offer more than the norm, because we are really looking a good chef with experience)
  
  The boat is cozy and clean and everything is there to prepare the food, and I have a fridge.
  It is a simple accommodation, and the shower is outside after a dive in the turquoise Greek sea.
  
  We are looking preferably for a non-smoker.
  
  About the sail trip:
  We are aiming for October 1st for one week but are a bit flexible.
  
  It is fantastic to anchor underneath a sky full of stars near an island beach or visit traditional Greek villages. We will do that for 7 days and celebrate life.
  Depending on the weather conditions, it might be Lefkas, Kefalonia, Corfu, Meganisi, Atakos.
  It will be a couple of islands. You can help in the sailing if you like.
  
  About your personality, we hope you:
  • are Fun, positive, extrovert, open-minded, eager to teach.
  • Enjoys a basic lifestyle;
  • You don't get seasick over nothing. We will be in calm waters, but some people's stomachs can't handle any movement.
  (Experience with boats is not necessary)

  We will just sail with the weather conditions and wind. prepare food at anchor or on the town quay. So don't worry, you will not have to prepare food during sailing.
