I am Justyna and I recently reunited with my husband in Mexico, Baja California Sur.
We are both living in La Paz and running the business from here. My husband, Rodrigo is running a casita rental in a town called La Ventana, which is approx. a 45 min. drive form La Paz. It is mostly known for its perfect wind circumstances and it is a hotspot for kitesurfing and windsurfing.

This project started in 2020 and it has been evolving thanks to our guest and the team who is behind its operation. Our goal is to be the place where you want to go for a calm and nice stay close to nature but also that has more than the basic requirements to be very comfortable.
The main factor here is the people. If we ensure that everyone that collaborates with us are aligned with our goal, we will be able to keep overdelivering to our guests and in the close future grow as a project.

For the summer months (July -September) I am urgently looking for a person or couple to stay during the whole time (3 months)

If you already know La Ventana there’s not much to say but that we also felt in love with this beautiful town. And if you don’t, no worries, chances are the same will happen to you. But in order to make your stay in the area easier and help you plan in advance according to your needs; we want to provide you with some useful information.

La Ventana and El Sargento are two “Ejidos” (meaning ranch town, which main activity is farming or fishing) right next to each other. In the recent years both became a very popular spot for their landscapes and favorable wind conditions to practice wind sports.

Nowadays it has grown into a great spot for international tourism for more than just wind sports but to many outdoor activities like mountain biking, hiking, fishing, diving, etc. You’ll find a vibrating combination of people who were born here, long and short term tourists, and people from many parts of México and the world who come to work.
Thus, you’ll experience a mix of customs and particularities varying from a black out (no electricity on a big part of the town) that may last one hour or one day, to the dog next door chasing/barking at you while riding a bike and if you’re lucky a loud party at night in a random day of the week.

Services like ATM and transportation to and from La Paz are very limited. There is no public transportation within the town.
