  We are a small family of three (in our 30s and a three-year-old) with an international background. We also have two cats and seven hens.
  
  We have lived in several places, mostly in Europe and North America, and have recently settled down in Northeast Tennessee. We were Airbnb hosts when we were in California. For those of you who work remotely, we have fast fiber-optic internet connection!
  
  We live in a quiet neighborhood with a rural feel, and we are within less than 30 minutes drive to the nearest cities (Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol). The area offers good outdoor activities, with the Appalachian trail within an hour drive.
  
  We follow the ketogenic diet.

  We are quite academic-minded (Xinyi is a theoretical physicist and Stephane studied theoretical computer science), and have a unique way of understanding the world in a consistent way at all levels. We'd love to share our unique knowledge with you!

  We can provide furnished private rooms. The workawayers can, of course, access all the other common areas.

  Helpers can do many outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, kayaking, etc. There are many festivals in the summer, in the nearby cities. Check out northeasttennessee.org to learn more about our region! We are also new to the area!

  We have fiber-optic internet with 200Mbps download and upload, and a mesh WiFi system that covers the entire house and a big part of our yard.
