Hello, I'm Kyoko. We are looking for a native or fluent English speaker who can help us with childcare and coaching in exchange for accommodation.
No meals are provided, but you'll have your private kitchen in your room.
We are in Inazawa City within 10-min train ride from a big city, Nagoya, located in the center of Japan.
(Inazawa is 45-min express train ride from CHUBU Centrair International Airport, Nagoya)
We are a family of three --- I'm 44 years old, and my husband is 46 years old. He is a teacher. My son is now in the third grade. We have a shiba - dog.
As you know, we are still in the middle of the covid-19 crisis here in Japan, so you are required to have vaccinations and always wear a mask.

If you like, you can practice speaking Japanese with us adults, interact with our parents, who live next to our house, and experience and learn Japanese culture .
We have a bike you can use to go around the city --- five minutes' bicycle ride to the station, two minutes' to the convenience store, three minutes' to the shopping mall and the supermarket.
We hope our ordinary daily life gives something special to you.

We'd like you to teach our 8-year-old boy English, math, science, geography, general knowledge, and trivia by doing workbooks, playing games, reading books, playing sports, or telling him your travel experience.
If you have some teaching experience or you like video games such as Minecraft and Roblox, board games, and card games, you are perfect fit to help him.
Our son, Shumpei, attended an international pre-school in Japan for 4 years, so he speaks English. But now he goes to Japanese elementary school and has few chances to speak English, so he needs your help.
He is a funny, lively boy, but I think he is easy to calm down, and he might be a bit shy at first.
He likes Nintendo Switch, board & card games, science, soccer and learning something new.
Please note that we don't serve meals. Your room has a private kitchen. You'll need to buy or prepare your own meals.

You'll have a furnished room with its own private entrance in our house. It's like a small studio apartment room with your own kitchen (incl. utensils, a microwave oven, a toaster oven, an electric kettle, a fridge, etc) and your own wash room (incl. a shower, a toilet, a sink, a washing machine, a hairdryer, etc) and WiFi.
You'll feel secure as we can assist you if you have a trouble.
