Hello !
We are Pedro and Maria, a simple and quiet Portuguese couple, and we live in a nice country place that needs some gardening work, but not hard work.
We would love to have someone who knows how to work with wood, like a carpenter. We have some ideas :-)
We have two daughters, both live in Lisbon and can sometimes come over on weekends.
We prefer double accounts and generally don't host for more than a week ;-)

The work you'll be doing is pretty simple:
Some help in the garden and in the house, we have some vegetables and fruit trees in the garden that need to be taken care too.
Maybe some painting.
We also have a small house next to ours that we rent out, so if there are guests arriving or leaving you may help in the cleaning of that house too...
And so on.

Alojamiento
You'll stay in a nice room in the house, only for yourself.
The wc is shared with our daughters and and friends if we have some visitors.
All the meals will be provided, we aren't vegetarian but if you are it will be fine too.
We provide towels and you can wash your clothes in the whashing machine.

The house is in Vila Nova de Milfontes, located in a natural park called SW Alentejano, the best preserved coastal area of southern Europe .
It is in a quite and peaceful place from 3km to the coast so it will be easy to go there and even in the winter the beach and the coast are very very beautiful.
There are also a bike that you can use.
To get there you can drive or take the bus.

We want to thank Pedro & Maria for hosting us. They and their family are very very kind people. The dogs are very cute. The accommodation was very comfy. The food was very delicious. The projects were very fun to do. It was a very nice week at their place. We are thankful to have meet them. (:

Mary & Gerald were great!!
It was a full experience to have them at home.
A "mid-50's" couple, as they say, can have a lot of energy I can tell you.
Really, they are very nice people. Good energy, trustworthy and available, easy going, someone that you can talk with and hard workers.

We had a very good time toghether. We had very nice and long (sorry :-) about that guys) talks.

He was always available to help. He painted, gardened hard, cooked very well korean food and learn things fast.
He well adapted to our culture and daily routine.
