  My name is Anna Katrín and I work as rural planner. We are fore in the family, me, my husband (Björgvin) and two sons. We are like many other Icelander little bit chaotic, plan at short notice an everything is based on the weather, which is always changing. Over the years, we have worked on many things, and when you live in a rural area it is good to know and be able to do many things. But when you have lot of ideas and a very long to do list, everything seems to be going slowly. So, it would be so great to get some help and be able to cross something off the list.
  We live in a small town Egilsstaðir, east of Icland. Even though the town is small, we have so much e.g. domestic airport, swimming pool, spa, shops, sport center, museum and parks. Then it is very short to natur and all the beautiful places.

  With us you will have opportunity to explore the east of Iceland. Here in the east we have beautiful landscape, mountains, fords, waterfalls, black beaches, canyons, birdlife, cute village, interesting structures, hiking trails and more. Also we can introduce you to some of our Icelandic traditions, history and food (especially if you eat meat and fish).

  Ayuda

  We welcome someone to help us with tasks in the garden, house maintenance and planting. Here are some of the tasks that my bee on the to do list. It is all pending on circumstances. Task: make garden beds, move bushes, plant trees, lay turf, clean garden beds, lay concrete slabs, painting, grow vegetables, grow trees and shrubs, mow the lawn, cut bushes, build a fence, repot trees and bushes, and build from wood. Work with ingredients from the garden and nature e.g. dry herbs, pick berry’s and precook.

  You will be staying in a small apartment in our basement. The apartment has a bedroom, a bathroom, small kitchen and a living room. Food and other facilities will be both at our home and in the apartment.
