  Hello!
  We are a family of four living in a house in the countryside, in the beautiful Styrian “Vulkanland” in the southeast of Styria, together with our animals – three cats, one dog, and several rabbits.
  
  At the moment, there are three of us living at home, as our older son has already moved out. We speak German at home, but we can also communicate well in English. Our daughter is 20 years old and also speaks Spanish.
  
  We are surrounded by beautiful nature and forests, and we really enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. Nevertheless, we have good connections: there is a bus stop nearby that can easily be reached by bike, and by car we can get to the city in just a short time.
  
  Our region is famous for its excellent wine, rolling hills, thermal spas, traditional wine taverns ("Buschenschanken"), pumpkin seed oil, and delicious Styrian cuisine. There are also many interesting places to explore nearby, such as Riegersburg Castle, the Zotter Chocolate Factory, and Styrassic Park, a dinosaur-themed adventure park. The area also offers beautiful forests, a lovely rose park, a sports park, and many charming small towns and villages.
  
  We are open to meeting new people, discovering new cultures and languages, and we would be very happy to welcome someone who would like to come and help us while sharing a great experience together.

  Wir sind eine vierköpfige Familie und leben in einem Haus auf dem Land im wunderschönen steirischen Vulkanland im Südosten der Steiermark – gemeinsam mit unseren Tieren: drei Katzen, einem Hund und mehreren Hasen.
  
  Momentan wohnen wir zu dritt im Haus, da unser älterer Sohn bereits ausgezogen ist. Zu Hause sprechen wir Deutsch, können uns aber auch gut auf Englisch verständigen. Unsere Tochter ist 19 Jahre alt und spricht außerdem Spanisch.
  
  Unsere Umgebung ist geprägt von wunderschöner Natur – wir sind von Wäldern umgeben und genießen die Ruhe des Landlebens. Trotzdem ist die Anbindung sehr gut: Eine Bushaltestelle ist mit dem Fahrrad leicht erreichbar, und mit dem Auto ist man in kurzer Zeit in der Stadt.
  
  Unsere Region ist bekannt für ihre hervorragenden Weine, sanften Hügel, Thermen, traditionellen Buschenschanken, steirisches Kürbiskernöl und die köstliche steirische Küche. Außerdem gibt es viele interessante Ausflugsziele in der Nähe, wie die Riegersburg, die Zotter Schokoladenmanufaktur und den Styrassic Park, einen Freizeitpark mit Dinosaurier-Thema. Die Umgebung bietet außerdem schöne Wälder, einen liebevoll angelegten Rosengarten, einen Sportpark sowie viele charmante kleine Städte und Dörfer.
  
  Wir sind offen für neue Menschen, Kulturen und Sprachen und würden uns sehr freuen, wenn jemand zu uns kommt, um uns ein wenig zu helfen und gemeinsam eine schöne Zeit zu verbringen.

  Somos una familia de cuatro personas que vive en una casa en el campo, en la hermosa región del Vulkanland en el sureste de Estiria (Austria), junto con nuestros animales: tres gatos, un perro y varios conejos.
  
  En este momento vivimos tres en casa, ya que nuestro hijo mayor ya se ha independizado. En casa hablamos alemán, pero también podemos comunicarnos bien en inglés. Nuestra hija tiene 19 años y también habla español.
  
  Vivimos rodeados de una naturaleza preciosa y de bosques, y disfrutamos mucho de la tranquilidad del campo. Aun así, estamos bien conectados: hay una parada de autobús cerca que se puede alcanzar fácilmente en bicicleta, y en coche llegamos a la ciudad en poco tiempo.
  
  Nuestra región es famosa por sus excelentes vinos, sus colinas onduladas, sus balnearios termales, las tradicionales tabernas de vino ("Buschenschanken"), el aceite de semillas de calabaza y la deliciosa gastronomía de Estiria. Además, hay muchos lugares interesantes para visitar en los alrededores, como el Castillo de Riegersburg, la fábrica de chocolate Zotter y Styrassic Park, un parque temático de dinosaurios. La zona también cuenta con hermosos bosques, un bonito parque de rosas, un parque deportivo y muchos pueblos y pequeñas localidades con encanto.
  
  Somos una familia abierta, con ganas de conocer nuevas personas, culturas e idiomas, y nos encantaría recibir a alguien que quiera venir a ayudarnos y compartir una bonita experiencia con nosotros.

We enjoy sharing our culture, preparing traditional meals, and helping others improve their German. We are happy to exchange experiences and learn from each other.
  
  In return, we would love to learn more about other cultures and countries. It would be wonderful if our daughter could practice her Spanish, and if we could all improve our English together.
