*************** Looking for a Girl/Man Friday ...... Could that be you? *****************

Due to poor health, I fatigue quickly so cannot now do the things I did prior, looking for someone that can do these jobs under instruction if necessary ie. the garden needs some pruning and TLC, and jobs around the home including DIY.
.
I live in a small village approx 40 minutes south of Poitiers in a typical 200 years old stone-built village house.
.
Your room has been totally and sympathetically completely renovated from bare walls and roof, there is UK TV and good WiFi, if English is not your first language I can help with improving though you must have reasonable English to start with otherwise you will not understand my instructions, I provide 3 meals a day and tea or coffee is available throughout the day.
.
I can teach you how to use hand and power tools, I am also able to teach you the basics of playing the guitar, making and baking different types of bread and cooking in general if you so desire.
.
I prefer people to stay a minimum of a month.
.
I live here with Baboo my dog who likes going for walks, looking forward to hearing from you, have a great day :)

This was my first Workaway experience and I couldn't ask for a happier one.
Stephen is a gracious host and very welcoming. The house is very comfortable, and theres always some great smells great music or just a great sense of fun in the air.

Great host, lovely pets, quiet area. He has Greek blood in his veins, so food and cooking is very important :) And chat, of course :)

We stayed in November 2016 for about 10 days at Stephens place. We did mainly masonry work. A hole in a wall was to be fixed and a stone wall to be constructed. Stephen is an excelent, kind and funny host. I really felt wellcome in this house with him and his lovely playfull dog Baboo, and his cat. The place he is building is nice and peacefull, the accommodation is very good and he's a superb cook.
The work at home and in the garden was flexible and not very hard.
I recommend this place to anybody.

Stephen has a great place in a very rural area of France. Great place to get some fresh air and relax (cellphone service is minimal but great wifi connection). Stephen is a very chill, funny guy and has great stories to tell. Oh and he is an excellent chef! You won't go hungry!!

Stephen is a fantastic man, I have improved my english so much with him. He is a very good cheff with all the food, I learnt to do some breads, pizaa and pasta. This Volunteering was my first and it was a magnific experience , the way its perfect for relax and peace. I will like to repeat this experience.

Mauro is a grafter, he took my garden from an overgrown mess to a tidy well kept garden, he dug over my veggie patch and planted many seeds, all we need now is some sun to get it all going.
He took Max my dog on many a walk.
