We absolutely loved having Anna and Amelie stay with us. They were enthusiastic, eager to learn and help, and fun to have around. Their help was invaluable and every job was done with care and attention to detail. They helped with outside farm and orchard work as well as with housework. We were very sad to say good bye and hope they will visit

I can’t thank Kay & Nic enough for this fun, memorable and insightful experience. I stayed with them for almost 2 months, and would go back 100%. I got to learn so much about macadamia farming, about caring for dogs, cows and poultry, SO MUCH from Kay about nutrition/cooking and fitness which I loved, and I got an insight into their community

Kay and Nic usually use Facebook for finding helpers so don’t let the lack of reviews put you off - they are experienced hosts who are fair, welcoming and generous. I had a lovely room and bathroom to myself, could help myself to food in the kitchen, use their beautiful swimming pool as well as their gym. You'll never get tired of going for walks on this beautiful farm.
I did a range of tasks from working on the fields, sorting macadamias in their work shed, doing some cleaning and organising inside, walking the dogs and helping with gardening.
I don’t drive and I was still able to see so many surrounding areas on day trips with the family. I’m so grateful to them for taking me to Noosa, Rainbow Beach, Tin Can Bay (to feed dolphins!) and more. They really made the effort to show me so many things.
Another interesting aspect for me was tagging along to church. As a non Christian i didn’t feel pressured at all and accepted the invite. I got to meet some lovely people and even got to come to their son Reid’s baptism which was a privilege.
If you’re looking for a unique experience which is both action packed AND peaceful, I can’t recommend this place enough! I can only thank this lovely family for a great way to spend 2 months in beautiful south Queensland.Solo puedes ponerte en contacto con workawayers con membresías activas.

Loved having Anna stay with us and work with us. She became a much loved member of our family, who loved to try new things and was a really hard worker!
