Descripción
I am English and moved to Portugal 3 years ago after working in finance in Luxembourg, I am semi-retired and building a family estate for me and my family. I am restoring a private vineyard on the estate, as well as landscaping the surrounding terrain. Help will include setting up irrigation systems, and new vine planting. It is a labour of love, not a business, for me and my family to enjoy into the future.

They will learn about vineyard establishment, as well as get to savour the Algarve - close to many historic spots from Roman and Moorish times, with nearby Tavira a postcard beautiful town. The village of Santa Catarina where the Quinta is based, is a short walk away with shops, cafes, restaurants, and tranquility.

2 acre vineyard, neglected and overgrown for 12 years, which is being recovered and restored, in Algarve, Portugal. There are other garden projects - building earth smiles around some trees to help water retention, and general land clear up.

Algarve beaches, local buses to Tavira & Sao Bras de Alportel - there are lovely local cafes and restaurants in the village of Santa Catarina, with nice walking trails. A good way to experience Portuguese village life yet being close to towns, transportation, even trips over to Spain. The house has keep-fit equipment and a rowing machine, and lovely land to explore and relax.
