Hello! I'm Mei from Japan.

I love being in nature, interacting with people from various countries, learning about cultures(including languages), reading books, playing sports, traveling, animals... and more. I'm curious, passionate about what I've got interested in, and active(though I appreciate quiet time alone sometimes ).

I'm studying at a university in Frankfurt (Oder). My major is cultural and social studies. Lectures are taught in English, so I'd love to improve my German.

I'm a member of Girl Scout(since I was 6 years old) and I love activity of it. I have a lot of opportunities that I can enjoy greatness of nature and learn about them. Camping, hiking,  going to the sea... I really love cooking outside with fire.  Not only about outdoor activities, I've learned many things in my troop like from how to take care of children to social problems . Trigger that I started being interested in foreign countries was also GS. It's really interesting to learn different cultures for me.

I've done many kinds of workaway and working at farms is especially my favourite. I've been working as a part-time worker in some restaurants since I was 15 years old(in Japan and Germany), my colleagues always say I'm too fast and careful😂 So I have confidence with my work whatever it is, even cleaning or creative works.

I'm a bookworm, especially mystery and fantasy novels, and Japanese manga are my favourite. But also like playing sports. Tennis, skiing, swimming, Karate(have a black belt) and so on.
