I have so many fond memories and pictures of my time in Shelton with the kitties, and our mini adventures together when you returned. … read more respite that can be extraordinarily rare to come by when traveling. It was a perfect retreat and an absolute joy to take care of the home and the felines, who are all extremely affectionate.
Additionally, Jen and Bob are so incredibly hospitable, generously inviting me to remain with them for a few weeks after their return, before the start of my next work exchange. This time was so fun and cozy, and went all too quickly!
The location of their home is very tranquil with all necessities nearby (including a public library!) that are easy to reach via walking, bike, or public transportation. The wonderful bus system is a convenient link to other parts of Vancouver as well as Portland.
