  Descripción

  1. House mother is an easy going woman looking for workaways willing to offer energy exchange for a minimum of 30 days or longer (based on work ethic and compatibility).
  Volunteers or the acceptance of women candidates is a somewhat slow process. House mother loves cooking,
  yoga, and gardening language practice and seeks volunteers with similar interests.
  
  One month is the minimum stay (after 10 days trial period)
  
  4 Hours schedule is 4 hours each day. Requests for time off needs to be communicated in advance.
  Schedule somewhat flexible after initial trial. Host is easy going but expects much.
  
  5. Meals
  Vegetarian with diary and eggs, not vegan or gluten free
  No fancy food or strictly organic. You need to be open and flexible with your diet. Nearest grocery and cafe is a 20 minute walk.
  6. Home and lifestyle-is simple and comfortable. Meat and shoe free house with ample space indoors and out. Smoke and alcohol free.
  Wifi is not available in or around the house. Public library with wifi is a 20 minute walk. This is a rural community with plenty of open space and hiking trails.

  Improve English and experience the benefits of a quiet life and place to get grounded for writing or meditation. Share companionship and vegetarian meals in a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Also companionship to area places of interest including camping, hiking the local trails and mountains.

  Ayuda

  The three of us (me, myself and I) accept members slowly and carefully. I will ask for references. I am especially seeking women. 4 hours of assistance each day in exchange for room & board. Help includes; but is not limited to; cleaning common areas, much continual watering, weeding and tending to the gardens, chickens, assisting the host etc.
  
  The ideal candidates are women travelers who enjoy a beautiful and quiet rural area without night life. I also require a minimum commitment of at least 1 month (after a 10 day trial period for compatibility assessment) Morning bell chimes at 6 30 am (night owls need not apply) trustworthy women with a strong work ethic and a good sense of humor and serving others most welcome. Public library and hiking trails within walking distance, not close to public transportation. I can provide some rides into town and the use of a bicycle. Please be willing to write several paragraphs about yourself. It is important to email back and forth and exchange photos quite a bit BEFORE any investment is made towards air faire to San Diego. I want your experience to be a rewarding one. Keep in mind that I am low tech by choice...and devote very little time online. So my response time may not be prompt.
  This is a meat, smoke, shoe, drug, alcohol, wireless & T.V. free environment. Host insists on rising early, on quiet morning voices and quiet evening hours. Host seeks community, I can be present for you...If you can be present for me. I enjoy hosting yoga instructors, artists, writers, photographers, hikers, vegetarian cooks, floor scrubbers, weed pullers, bike repairers, wood gatherers, hen whisperers, annoying cat toleraters, and those committed to service in these areas. To quote Rumi..”Let the beauty you love be what you do”.

  Accommodations are modest but comfortable. I provide a private sleeping area, you will be required to share the bathroom. The site is a 2 bedroom rustic home with a large yard in a quiet rural valley area east of San Diego, California. We are located inland. It can be hot and dry during the summer months. Very pleasant temperatures during fall, winter and spring.
